We tv’s Love After Lockup came back strong with its Friday, Oct. 9 Season 3 midseason premiere.
The episode drew 1.3 million viewers in Live+3, 780K of them in the adults 25-54 demographic and 635K among adults 18-49. These were franchise high marks in total viewers, adults 25-54 and 18-49 as well as women 25-54 and 18-49 across all Love After Lockup and Life After Lockup premieres.
Versus the Season 3 debut on July 17, the midseason opener was up double-digits among viewers and key demos, +35% in women 18-49, +31% in women 25-54, +26% in adults 25-54, and +30% in total viewers. We tv’s original docuseries Growing Up Hip Hop is getting an even longer fifth season than expected.
The cable network announced Friday that the upcoming season — which premieres December 5 — will be extended to 13 episodes.

We tv has announced a 10-episode extension for Season 2 of Love After Lockup, raising the number of episodes to 24. The additional episodes, introducing new couples making the transition to “love on the outside” will air this spring.
The network cited audience growth as the reason behind the expanded season. We tv has ordered a ten-episode new season of its hit reality series Bridezillas for premiere in 2019. The docuseries about brides gone wild returned earlier this year after a multi-year hiatus on We tv, with double-digit ratings growth over the course of the new season.

WEtv has ordered six one-hour episodes of the unscripted Swv – Sisters With Voices, which will profile the R&B trio’s make-it-or-break-it comeback. It’s set to premiere in early 2014. Cheryl “Coko” Clemons, Leanne “Lelee” Lyons and Tamara “Taj” Johnson were at the top of the music charts after a string of hits in the 1990s, but in-fighting and drama lead to their demise. After a 15-year separation the trio reunited in an attempt to recapture their fame.
