Such was the resonating impact of the tragic Boston bombings of 2013, that Hollywood currently has a trio of films in the works based on the real-life event. Alongside the Jake Gyllenhaal-led Stronger is the slightly troubled Boston Strong – which has since lost Casey Affleck and Daniel Espinosa – and finally, there’s Patriot’s Day.
Earlier this year, we brought you the news that Ted 2 star Mark Wahlberg is all but confirmed to topline the drama as Commissioner Ed Davis, and now Variety has the skinny on a potential reunion with his Lone Survivor director, Peter Berg. Throughout the years, Hollywood has showcased symptoms of double vision, be it the by-now infamous case of Deep Impact and Armageddon, Antz and Pixar’s A Bugs Life on the animation front or, more recently, Mirror Mirror and Snow White and the Huntsman. There are of course a number of variables that factor into these peculiar back-to-back releases; budget concerns, marketing tactics, and releasing a film during what is considered to be the most opportune window.

After the devastation of the Boston Marathon bombings, terrorist brothers Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were planning to head to New York to attack Times Square.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, and his brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, planted two bombs at the finish line of the Boston Marathon on April 15, injuring over 180 people and killing three. Massachusetts police have now released the thermal imaging video of the capture of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev from April 19. It’s a good thing he was caught, because Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis has also revealed that the two terrorist brothers could have carried out more attacks — they reportedly had at least six bombs in their possession to possibly ‘attack other individuals.’ Keep reading to watch the video.
On April 21, Massachusetts police released the thermal imaging video of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s capture. The video, which uses heat sensing to see through objects, shows the suspect cowering inside a Watertown, Mass. resident’s boat, as police throw flash bang grenades into the boat and use a robot to remove the boat’s tarp before eventually detaining him.

Following the two terrifying explosions at the Boston marathon on April 15, the Boston Police have come to the conclusion that the attack was an act of terrorism. The poor quality of the bombs, the high profile location and many other reasons show that this was an act of domestic terrorism. Read on to find out why.
Five Reasons Why The Explosions Could Be A Domestic Terrorist Attack
1) The bombs appear home made – The devices appeared to be crudely made, making it unlikely that they were the work of a foreign government or global terrorist group, such as Al Qaeda, the experts said to the Boston Globe. Many more people would have been killed if they were more high tech.
