Corey Harrison, who stars on History Channel’s Pawn Stars and Pawnography, opened up about his impressive 192-pound weight loss and healthy lifestyle change.
Corey Harrison Talks Weight Loss Journey
In 2010, Harrison’s doctor told him he was at risk of developing diabetes. The prognosis sent him straight to the operating table for a lap band surgery.
“I literally drove straight from the doctor to the lap band center and had the surgery almost immediately. Back then, the surgery was too expensive for my bank account, so I had to pay with four credit cards, but it was something I had to do – I was not going to get diabetes,” Harrison told People.
In the first two months post-surgery, Harrison lost 50 lbs. Within the year, he had lost a total of 150 lbs.

Pawn Stars is getting its own game show spinoff, Pawnography, set to premiere this summer on History Channel.
Pawnography will be a half-hour game show taped in front of a live studio audience in Las Vegas. The game is simple: contestants will be put up against each other and Pawn Stars cast members Rick Harrison, Corey Harrison and Chumlee Russell in a three round game of trivia to win prize money and items from the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawnshop, the family business featured on the show.
“The cherished items up for grabs are from Rick’s personal collection and he doesn’t want to give them up – this is the only game show that doesn’t want the contestants to win,” reads the official description.
An open casting call for Pawnography contestants will take place Saturday, May 3 in Las Vegas.
Pawn Stars airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on History Channel.

Black and her representatives state in a press release, "This intolerance for online nude photos seems to be only subjected to female television personalities, and because of that Olivia's has been advised to sue Leftfield Pictures for this discrimination.
"Since the show, Olivia has moved on and is now gearing up for a national tour for her fans which will include photo ops, autograph sessions, and night club appearances. She is also in the beginning process of her own reality show."
