- Anderson attended Bethel High School in Vallejo, Calif., where he rushed for nearly 4,000 yards during his prep career and led his team to four consecutive playoff appearances. Majored in interdisciplinary studies at Cal. Cortrelle Javon Anderson was born on Feb. 10, 1991. Anderson appeared in all 25 games (2 starts) in two seasons at the University of California-Berkley after transferring from Laney College. Rushed for 1,135 yards and 12 touchdowns on 198 carries (5.7 avg.) for the Golden Bears and added 22 receptions for 350 yards and two scores. Totaled 126 rushes for 790 yards (6.3 avg.) and four touchdowns as a senior while topping the 100-yard mark on three occasions.
