As Ralph falls deeper into dependence on the group and its increasingly aggressive and dominance-driven members, his relationship and his life crumble until he suffers a breakdown and descends into madness.
Ethan Suplee, Evan Jonigkeit and Philip Ettinger also star in the film which Riley Keough, Ryan Zacarias, Ben Giladi, and Gina Gammell produce.

’Manodrome’ plays in competition at the Berlinale.
South African director John Trengove’s Berlinale competition title doesn’t seem like an obvious choice to set during the festive period.
Manodrome sees Jesse Eisenberg playing a troubled taxi driver who finds himself becoming lured into a mysterious and cult-like ‘family’ of men.
“It’s a strange kind of Christmas movie, in a way,” said Trengove, while discussing the film with cast members including Eisenberg and Adrien Brody at the Berlinale.

The Gotham Awards will be the first awards body on the independent circuit to choose its winners for the year on Monday.
On the film side, two Netflix features lead the tally, both from debut women filmmakers — Rebecca Hall’s “Passing” and Maggie Gyllenhaal’s “The Lost Daughter.” There isn’t always an obvious blueprint to predicting this group. As we saw with last year’s two tied categories, things could get interesting at Cipriani Wall Street. The Gotham are just the start of a busy week that has a great influence on the Oscar race. After Monday’s first critics and guild screening of Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story” and Wednesday’s unveiling of Guillermo del Toro’s “Nightmare Alley,” Thursday brings us the National Board of Review selections before the New York Film Critics Circle weighs in on Friday.

In his new movie “Pig,” Nicolas Cage is on a mission to reclaim something cherished that was taken from him: his prized pet pig that hunts truffles.
“Pig” is a revenge thriller starring Cage and Alex Wolff. Cage plays Rob, a truffle hunter who lives alone in the Oregonian wilderness who must return to his past in Portland in search of his beloved pig after she’s kidnapped. Neon, the U.S. distributor behind Bong Joon Ho’s Oscar winner “Parasite,” has won domestic rights to “Pig,” a revenge thriller from Nicolas Cage and first time filmmaker Michael Sarnoski, Variety has learned.
The Tom Quinn-led company came out ahead in a heated bidding war that ignited last week involving numerous competitors, sources said.
The deal is a glimmer of hope in an industry paralyzed by the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic, especially for movie theaters. Despite the timely demand for finished streaming content, and Neon’s partnership with Hulu, “Pig” will be released in theaters, at a to-be-determined date.
Writer-director Sarnoski’s film sees Cage as a reclusive truffle hunter in Oregon whose prize hunting pig is kidnapped, forcing him to return to old stomping grounds in Portland and confront his past. “Hereditary” actor Alex Wolff co-stars. What happens if you suspect your judicial system of being unjust?
That’s the question many Israelis faced in Netflix‘s “Shadow of Truth,” a four-part documentary series about the murder of a 13-year-old girl, Tair Rada, in Golan Heights during the daytime at her high school in 2006. Although a suspect was questioned, confessed and was eventually found guilty, his conviction has been the subject of wide controversy in the country.
