Mitchell Callaway has left The X Factor Australia. The wannabe singer, who was mentored by Natalie Bassingthwaighte during his time in the reality television series, was eliminated by the public after a deadlocked vote between the judges during Tuesday night's live show. After Callaway and Johnny Ruffo were told that they were the bottom two contestants, Callaway performed country hit 'I Won't Let You Fall', while Ruffo sang Michael Jackson's 'Billie Jean'. Judge Guy Sebastian chose to send home Callaway as he is Ruffo's mentor, but he admitted that he "nailed" his performance. Mel B said that her decision to send Callaway home was based on who had "grown from day one" and she labelled Callaway a "great singer" but Ruffo a "great performer". Savage Garden's Darren (more)...
