Elisha Thompson started dancing at the age of three and started
teaching dance when she was just fifteen. Elisha has a background in
modeling and acting in various local commercials and events. She was
also a cast member for Disney. She attended Brigham Young University
where she was on the Ballroom Tour Team for four years. While there,
she was able to travel and perform in China, Hong Kong, England,
Scotland, Vietnam, Thailand, and various cities throughout the United
States. Also, each year she was on the team, they won the title of
National Formation Champions, as well as British Open champions in
2010. In 2011 Elisha won the title of National Amateur Theater Arts
Champion alongside her partner Jared Kelson entitled, "A Drop in the
Ocean". She graduated from BYU with a bachelors in Dance Education. She
has choreographed for many competitive dance teams and taught classes
in ballroom, jazz, and lyrical dance. Elisha Thompson wrote,
choreographed, and set designed for the short dance film "Time Withers"
which she wrote in memory of her grandparents Elvin and Ethel Lunt
after her grandmother died of Alzheimer's disease in 2008. Elisha also
starred in a short dance film based on her national title winning
dance, which has yet to be named.
