- Garry Stevens was born in 1916 in the USA. He was an actor, known for Dance with a Stranger (1985) and Musical Merry-Go-Round #2 (1948). He died on December 8, 2009 in Benicia, California, USA.
- The first singer to record "White Christmas" while performing with the Charlie Spivak orchestra. His other hits included "My Devotion", "Slow Boat to China", "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles", "A Little Dream of Me" and "Fools Rush In". Inducted into the Big Band Hall of Fame.
- Worked as a disc jockey at radio station WROW in the 1940's, prior to joining WRGB. He became an executive in the 1970's with the local real estate firm of O'Connor-Sullivan.
