- You have to look at Citizen Kane, Orson Wells. (1941). Gone with the Wind, Victor Fleming. (1939). The Wizard of Oz, Victor Fleming. (1939). Lawrence of Arabia, David Lean. (1962). Grand Prix, John Frankenheimer. (1966), and of course, 1000 other wonderful features to really understand the master piece's of cinema.
