Exclusive: Production has wrapped on Bring the Law, an action-thriller that marks the directorial debut of actress Scout Taylor Compton (2007’s Halloween).
The film, hailing from Hillin Entertainment and produced by Daemon Hillin and Carolina Brasil, stars Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler), Peter Facinelli (Twilight), Nicky Whelan (The Flood), Danielle Harris (Halloween), Brendan Fehr (Roswell), and Leah Pipes (The Originals).
The film sees a grieving homicide detective chosen to lead a task force in Los Angeles to stop a criminal organization. He soon unravels a conspiracy involving corruption in his own department.

Legendary Naughty by Nature rapper Anthony “Treach” Criss has joined the upcoming action film, “The Getback,” set to air on Tubi this year. “Veep” alum Sufe Bradshaw has also joined.
“The Getback” tells the story of Mal Cooper (Theo Rossi), an ex-cop-turned-bounty hunter hired to bring in a slippery accountant whose testimony is crucial to the trial a major gang boss. The pair must work and trust each other to slip by crooked killer cops and mercenaries out for blood.
Treach plays Alonzo Beaumont, “a notorious gangster awaiting his trial date in jail, whose entire case may (or may not) depend on the successful retrieval of his flighty accountant,” per the official description.
Bradshaw meanwhile plays Mal Cooper’s former partner, Detective Hatch, who helps Cooper from inside the police to learn who is trying to have the witness murdered.

Dermot Mulroney, Shane Paul McGhie and Kim Coates will be joining Tubi’s actioner “The Getback” alongside the previously-announced Theo Rossi.
Rossi leads the film as Mal Cooper, a bounty hunter who must retrieve a con artist criminal accountant and keep him alive. Upon finding the criminal, the two have to work together to escape cops and mercenaries on a mission to kill them.
Mulroney is joining the film as Chief Joe Milazzo, Cooper’s ex-employer. His credits include “My Best Friend’s Wedding,” “August: Osage County,” “Young Guns” and the upcoming horror film “Scream VI.”
McGhie is also part of “The Getback” ensemble, having acted previously with Rossi in the film “American Skin.” McGhie has also worked on “Deputy,” “What Men Want” and “Unbelievable.”
Coates is joining the cast after having played opposite Rossi in “Sons of Anarchy.” Coates is also featured in “Bad Blood,” “Goon,” “Godless” and the upcoming mini-series “White House Plumbers.
