"Why do you always take his side?" Indie Rights has released a new official trailer for a relationship drama titled Avalanche, which has been confirmed for a release this year. From writer & director Todd L. Green, the film is about a librarian, his wife, and her lover who become trapped in a house together and are forced to deal with the fallout of their indiscretions. This stars Stelio Savante, Autumn Withers, and Gideon Emery in the three lead roles. We featured the first trailer last year, but now that it has distribution they've pulled that and replaced it with another trailer. This looks super low budget, and still feels like a stage play more than a feature film, but hopefully it has enough intriguing relationship drama to pull some viewers in. Here's the newest official trailer (+ original poster) for Todd L. Green's Avalanche, direct from YouTube: Avalanche tells the...

The First trailer for the dark comedy, ‘Avalanche‘ has been released. The film follows a librarian when his wife–along with her lover–become trapped in a house together and are forced to navigate the chaotic fallout of their indiscretions. There’s great bits of comedy sparsed throughout this trailer, and teases the silly situations that our three characters find themselves in.
‘Avalanche‘ was directed by Todd L. Green, who was the recipient of a 2015 Houston Arts Alliance Individual Artist Grant and was also awarded Best Director at the 2013 Ifq Festival for Louis Grant a series he co-created, produced and directed. The film stars and was produced by Stelio Savante, Autumn Withers and Gideon Emery, along with Todd L. Green and Neil Sandilands executive producing. ‘Avalanche‘ seems to be aiming for a 2018 release, so make sure to stay tuned as we learn more. In the meantime, here’s the trailer...

"How many more secrets do you have?" "Oodles." The Willoughby Movie Company has debuted the first official trailer for a relationship drama titled Avalanche, from writer & director Todd L. Green. The film is about a librarian, his wife, and her lover who become trapped in a house together and are forced to navigate the fallout of their indiscretions. Starring Stelio Savante, Autumn Withers, and Gideon Emery in the three lead roles. There seems to be some intriguing things going on, involving cameras and setups just to catch the other person. This has a very low budget look and sound, and it feels like a stage play more than cinema, but it should still be a fun film to watch. As long as you can laugh at this kind of relationship humor. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Todd L. Green's Avalanche, direct from YouTube: Avalanche tells the story...

Here’s a fact for you: When filming Jurassic Park, they used emus as stand-ins for the various two-legged dinosaurs, zoologist and emu expert Todd Green told National Geographic. (Green, who has wrestled emus “many times” also advises that in order to properly take one down, you’ve gotta get behind them, because “They kick forward very powerfully, but they can’t kick backward, usually. So you have to give them a big bear hug from behind and grab where their sternum is.”)
That said, these friendly Minnesotan dogs don’t seem to have emu-wrestling on their mind, and they...

“Re-Animator” is a 1985 comedy sci-fi film based on the H.P. Lovecraft story “Herbert West, Re-Animator” and directed by Stuart Gordon. For those unfamiliar with the plot, the movie centered around a medical student (Jeffrey Combs) who brings his headless professor back from the dead with a special serum. Rumors of a sequel have been circulating the web and now, thanks to Bloody Disgusting, a new “Re-Animator” film has been confirmed.
According to the site, the feature is titled “Re-Animator: Evolution” and is currently in development with Serge Levin directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with actor Johnathon Schaech.
“Our adaptation is a modern rendition of Herbert West – ‘Reanimator’ by H.P. Lovecraft,” Levin told Bloody Disgusting. “Moreover, we’re making sure that the spirit and the story elements are more loyal to the original written material of H.P. Lovecraft. It’s much darker, more thought provoking, and definitely more grounded in science than the first adaptation.
