Simeon Halligan, director of the Grimmfest Film Festival in Manchester, is a filmmaker in his own right and is preparing for his new film, Past Life. It will be a psychological thriller and Emile Hirsch will take the lead in the film. Hirsch stars as an investigative reporter, Jason Frey, who reluctantly agrees to attend a hypnotism event with his pregnant wife Claira.
