Sam Poueu is the first "The Biggest Loser" player to reach his goal weight on the ranch, so Tuesday night when he only lost two pounds, it wasn't a surprise. He has been in the bottom two before because he has so little weight left to lose, but previously, he was saved. When the vote was tallied on Tuesday's episode, two players voted to send Sam home; two voted to send home Michael Ventrella. "The Biggest Loser" rules state that when there is a tie, the player with the lowest percentage of weight loss goes home and that was Sam. "I was surprised," he says. "I thought, 'We are at six right now. Only four compete for the grand prize. If Mike makes it into the final four, he has a huge chance of winning the entire thing. Shocking but true…Stephanie and co-star Sam Poueu fell in love on TV, but to give their romance a shot producers completely edited their romance off the show!
Stephanie Anderson may have lost her spot on The Biggest Loser: Couples March 30, but the latest castoff says that being given a shot at love has made her the happiest she’s even been in her life. Sounds like a winner to us!
“Sam and I formed a really great friendship that fell into ‘like,’ that fell into love,” the 29-year-old radio executive from West Hollywood, Calif. told reporters March 31, gushing about her first ever relationship with fellow contestant Sam Poueu, a 24-year-old football coach from Rohnert Park, Calif.
Although the love birds fell for each other almost immediately upon meeting at the ranch in Sept., producers edited their romance completely off the show — which is something we would have loved to witness!

"I'm genuinely and truly the happiest I've ever been and I believe Sam is as well ... my friends and family are really happy for me and the majority of them have met Sam and fallen in love with him too," she said.

Sherry Johnston was the last mother standing when she got voted off of "The Biggest Loser" on Tuesday night's show. And as the last mom, she took some of the other contestants under her wing, including Stephanie Anderson, whose own mother was voted out on week two. Since her mom left, Stephanie has begun a romance with Sam Poueu, and Sherry, who had grown close to Stephanie and Patti when they shared a suite of rooms at the ranch, has given her some advice. "When Stephanie's mom Patti went home in week two, I started seeing the sparks then. As pink mom, I took her aside and said, 'You know, Steph, I just want you to take this slow. I don't want you to get into a relationship and lose focus of why you are really here. This is about you. As your fill-in mom, I want to make sure...

I didn't see that one coming but In Touch is reporting that there's a new Biggest Loser couple in the house. Season 9 contestant Stephanie Anderson says, “I never expected to find love while working on me, but Sam (Poueu) is like no one I’ve ever met. He brings out the best in me.”
The other Biggest Loser contestants teased them about their “dates” on the Presidential Mile, renaming part of it Cupcake Bridge. “When you pull away from the boys to spend time with your lady, it’s called ‘cupcaking,’” Sam tells In Touch.
It's reported the couple had their first kiss during week three of being on The Biggest Loser ranch and that Sam has plans to relocate to be closer to Stephanie after the finale.
