In the past few years, writer Tom Taylor has built a dual reputation for both coming up with new takes on familiar characters in projects like Injustice and All-New Wolverine, and also creating brand-new concepts like Netflix’s successful animated series The Deep. His latest project, created in partnership with Star Wars Adventures and Batman/Tmnt artist Jon Sommariva, combines both appeals as it brings a new spin to Peter Pan’s old stomping grounds, in the young adult graphic novel series Neverlanders.
The YA graphic novel is now slated for a summer 2022 release date from Penguin Random House, which has purchased the rights.

"...'Task Force X' is the world's most wanted. On the run from heroes and villains alike and no closer to taking down the puppet master who's been pulling their strings. After Star Wars: The Last Jedi received criticism for killing off Snoke before the character’s backstory was explained, The Rise of Skywalker attempted to make things right by revealing the Supreme Leader to be a genetically engineered puppet of Emperor Palpatine.
The last-minute retcon was a divisive move in itself, partly because of how quickly The Rise of Skywalker brushes over this twist in the film’s opening minutes. But as Age of Resistance – Supreme Leader Snoke writer Tom Taylor recently pointed out via Twitter, Snoke’s 2019 spinoff comic briefly foreshadowed this development a few months before the movie’s release.
In a series of panels from the Snoke comic, the Supreme Leader and his apprentice Kylo Ren journey to Dagobah where Kylo soon feels the presence of his uncle Luke still lingering. In response, Snoke remarks that “one of the most formidable Jedi began his training here,” leading...

The smash success of DCeased, the DC zombies comic is all in its emotional power.
This article contains major spoilers for DCeased.
When DCeased was announced, it’s safe to assume it was met with more than a few eye rolls. Did the world really need a DC zombies book as the rest of pop culture seems to be putting a lid on the zombie phenomenon for another few years? “I'm not a zombie fan either, or a horror fan, like at all,” says Tom Taylor, writer of DCeased, in a chat ahead of the release of the sold-out hardcover collection of what ended up being a critical darling and a runaway train on comic shop shelves. “What I am is a DC fan, and I enjoy a challenge. So for me, it was actually something I hemmed and hawed about when [DCeased editor] Ben Abernathy contacted me about it.

Power Rangers teaming up with the Justice League? That would never happen in my wildest dreams....right? Guess we'll have to file that thought under things I would have said yesterday.
Well it looks like Boom Studios and DC Comics will be teaming up to combine the Justice League and the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers team. Scheduled for January of 2016 these two teams will unite for a six issue mini series written by Tom Taylor (Injustice: Gods Among Us, Superior Iron Man) and drawn by Stephen Byrne (Green Arrow, Serenity). As the story will go a teleporter accident transports our Black Ranger Zack to an alternate world where the DC heroes reside.
No more of the story has been revealed but you know how these stories go, misunderstanding between heroes, fight begins, common threat forces them to team up for the greater good. But hey would you care if...

Wolverine died over a year ago, but his legacy lives on as his clone Laura Kinney, who was formerly known as X-23, dons his original blue and yellow spandex in All-New Wolverine #1. Writer Tom Taylor, artists David Lopez and David Navarrot, and colorist Nathan Fairbarn take a page out of the best solo Wolverine stories (Think the Madripoor years, or when he worked for Shield in the Mark Millar run.) and set the comic in Paris, whose trademark lights create gorgeous conflagrations with the explosions and Laura’s boyfriend/sidekick’s Angel’s new wings and costume. Taylor sets the tone of the book in an extended flashback featuring Wolverine and X-23 back in their X-Force days again showing off his ability to take the...

Superior Iron Man returns to spinner racks and this time with one of the most politically charged and hard hitting issues to date. If the idea of Tony Stark donning Apple styled armor and being hailed as San Francisco’s technological messiah wasn’t on the point enough, this issue puts on the brass knuckles and starts giving out political gut punches. Tony Stark unveils the next stage of his Extremis 3 program, Iron Sight, a mass of flying camera drones with the private information of everyone in the city with specific programing to protect only those who can afford Extremis in the first place. Yep, all within the span of five pages, Tom Taylor sounds off against drone warfare, street monitoring, excessive police action, corporate control of law enforcement, online privacy, and data mining, and...
