Lauren Nicole Lien was born in Mission Hills, California. Close to her
Puerto Rican heritage, Lauren has kept a strong passion for culture,
spirituality and diversity. Lauren went to a small Episcopalian private
school in Apple Valley, California, then attended public high school
where she starred in her first major theater role as the lead, Duke
Orsino in Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night". This started Lauren's journey
to her entertainment career. Throughout school she would host events
and was highly involved in community outreach, student leadership,
sports and other activities- never feared to take a stand. Lauren
attended the University of California Riverside and transferred to
California State University Fullerton where she graduated with a B.A.
in Communications/Public Relations. Having a tenacious drive to
understand the business world as an artist, she worked with event
groups, Project Ethos and RAW Artists to help promote aspiring artists
showcase their craft. While enrolled in acting classes and workshops,
Lauren worked for major Fortune 500 companies where she was mentored by
some of the top professionals who gave her opportunities to learn and
grow in the business world. It came time for Lauren to leave the
corporate world to follow her passion. Her first short film role as
Daniels in Drain Desert Tanner, won several awards in the 48 Hour Film
Festival and was accepted into the 2010 Cannes Festival. Since then
Lauren has taken time off to travel the world and explore the
entertainment business around the globe. She now spends her time
between the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
