Writer/Director Jason Miller’s feature debut, Ghosts of the Void, presents a haunting look the American Dream or, more accurately, the fragility of it. A brand new trailer gives a closer look at the grim horror.
Ghosts of the Void releases on Digital and VOD on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
In the film, “Jen and Tyler used to have it all: a solid marriage, a nice home, and careers that promised a bright future. But when Tyler’s drinking problem worsens, and his writer’s block continues, the debt collectors show no mercy, forcing the couple out of their home and into their car. Beyond stressed, exhausted, and overwhelmed with feelings of failure, Jen and Tyler park their car in a vacant lot, hoping to get a good night’s sleep before dealing with the realities of tomorrow. "What do you want?!" Slated has revealed an official trailer for an indie horror film called Ghosts of the Void, marking the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Jason Miller. After playing at fests this year, it is set to debut in November on VOD and in limited theaters in October. Spending the night in her car, a newly homeless woman wrestles with exhaustion, her crumbling marriage, and the threat of mysterious, masked strangers. "Jason Miller carefully crafts a riveting, slow-burn thriller that delves deep into the psychological depths of a crumbling marriage stuck in the middle of nowhere. Ghosts of the Void exposes the fragility of the human psyche in the face of adversity, while leaving audiences to question the thin line between reality and the supernatural." How's that for a pitch? The film stars Tedra Millan and Michael Reagan. Looks a bit scrappy, but there seems to be a strong intent in this film,...

Last week we shared that our friends at The Horror Collective had acquired Jason Miller's horror flick, Ghosts of the Void. The flick was having its final festival screening at Popcorn Frights last weekend, after which we would have to wait to hear when The Horror Collective will do a wide release. It should be later this year. Well, they now have an accolade and publicity boost when promoting the film as the festival has announced that it won the jury award for Scariest Feature Film Prize. Congrats to Miller and their team. We will have to see for ourselves if the jury got it right when Ghosts of the Void releases later this year. Ghosts Of The Void Wins Scariest Film at...

Before I write another word about Johny Hendricks, I have a confession to make.
I am biased.
I am an Oklahoma State alumnus, born and raised in beautiful Stillwater, Oklahoma. At the dinner table each night as a young Lucky, we thanked God for Henry Iba, Eddie Sutton, and the entire Smith wrestling dynasty (LeRoy, John, Pat, & Mark) with their 7 national championships and 2 Olympic gold medals. I take great pride in the 34 national champions and 134 individual Ncaa championships of my school and alma mater. And our Johny is part of that bedrock.
When I see a Cowboy wrestler with a freaking spitter on stage at a Ufc presss conference, rocking an epic beard, and his easy going folksy accent, I know that’s my guy. That’s a Good Ole Boy. Now with all of that being said, I can objectively and emphatically state:
Johny Hendricks Is Getting Screwed

Dread recently visited the set of filmmaker Tim Sullivan’s latest flick Chillerama and spent some time chatting with him, as well as the cast, regarding his rather gonzo segment of the horror-comedy anthology. Entitled "I Was A Teenage Werebear", Sullivan’s spoof of 1960’s beach blanket flicks, among others, was then filming during the wee hours of November 5th in Sycamore Cove, a state beach just north of the exclusive enclave of Malibu.
“Let me tell you what’s going on,” Sullivan (the man behind the features 2001 Maniacs and 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams, as well as the host of VH1’s recently-concluded reality series "Scream Queens 2") communicated to us of the film, while rehearsing a dance number with a dozen or so actors decked out in luau garb, as waves crashed on the beach just yards away. “It’s me and filmmakers Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2: Dead End...
