John B. Garcia

John Garcia was born on April 8, 1987 in Providence, Rhode Island. He
was raised in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. As a student at Fairhaven High
School, he became involved with the institution's Television Production
department, learning the basics of camera work. During this time, he
garnered attention with a music video of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."
This project won him a Massachusetts Organization of Video Educators
award for Best Music Video.
In the fall of 2005, Garcia enrolled as a film major at Emerson College, where he worked in a variety of crew positions on fellow students projects. During his senior year, he completed his B.A. Practicum film "Faceless," a surreal, film noir influenced thriller that has been submitted to numerous festivals. Garcia graduated from the school in May, 2009.
