Based off a UK-based edgy sitcom (not unlike The Office), Shameless found itself at home here in the states. For 10 seasons, Shameless follows the dysfunctional low-income Gallagher family and their friends/relationships. With a family this size, there’s a Gallagher for just about every zodiac sign! But which barely-functioning member of society is your star sibling? Let’s find out! Aries – Carl Gallagher Carl gives very classic Aries. As a child, he’s independent and hyperactive, seemingly unafraid of the dangerous way his family lives. As an adult, he’s a passionate and indecisive young man with a chip on his shoulder. Spoiler Alert: This post contains details of the series finale of Shameless tonight.
After 11 seasons, it was truly last call for Frank Gallagher tonight on the series finale of multiple SAG Awards winner Shameless.
Having apparently overdosed in the penultimate episode, the William H. Macy portrayed debauched patriarch evaded his maker one more time to the frustration of his offspring and extended family. However, as son Lip (Jeremy Allen White) and lady love Tami (Kate Miner) face the prospect of another baby as they are barely scraping by and brother Ian (Cameron Monaghan) and hubby Mickey (Noel Fisher) move up the social ladder and contemplate a baby of their own, the dementia inflected Frank is laid low in the end by another adversary that had plagued the final season – the coronavirus.

Joshua Malina (Scandal) and Beth Triffon (Ten Days in the Valley) have joined the casts of Showtime’s Shameless and ABC’s The Goldbergs, respectively, in recurring roles. Both initially signed for one-episode guest shots, which have already aired. Both were received well and ultimately turned into sizeable guest arcs.
Malina recurs as Arthur Trilling on the eleventh and final season of Shameless. Arthur is a longtime Chicago cop who stays safe on the job by refusing to leave his squad car. Then he is assigned Carl Gallagher as his junior partner and that changed everything.
Starring William H. Macy, the final season of Shameless finds the Gallagher family and the South Side at a crossroads, with changes caused by the Covid pandemic, gentrification and aging to reconcile.
Jeremy Allen, Ethan Cutkosky, Cameron Monaghan, Noel Fisher, Steve Howey, Shanola Hampton, Christian Isaiah and Kate Miner also star.

Shameless Season 10 Episode 11
“Dear God, why does everything always have to suck?”
“Location, Location, Location” reveals that a month has more or less passed since the last episode as a "restored" Frank gets released from rehab. As Frank gets removed from this one cushy situation he quickly finds himself in another one. Frank uses Faye’s trip to Puerto Rico as an opportunity to break into her home and hole himself up in her swank living arrangements with no one to check up on him.
It’s fairly ridiculous that Faye seems to actually be interested in Frank now and cares about him on some twisted level. She's out of the picture for now, but enough of a tease is dropped that she could...
