Manuela Jorge was born in Marinha Grande and headed to Lisbon in 2005
following a dream. With just 8 years old, Manuela started attending at
Sport Operário Marinhense piano and accordion lessons, where she also
attended initial theatrical performance with Norberto Barroca. From her
grandfather she inherited her passion for drawing a and painting,
specializing in Arts in High School, having presented her work with oil
on canvas in several collective and individual showings. After a few
years of dedication in several areas, she decided to follow her dreams
applying to "ACT - Actors School " where she thrived unded the guidance
of teachers like Nicolau Breyner, António Pedro Vasconcelos, Elsa
Valentim, Dmitry Bogomolov, among others.
As an actress she participated in " Conta-me Como Foi " from channel RTP1, "Casos da Vida - Longe de Mais" from channel TVI and gave life to the character " Micaela " in the series "Morangos Com Açúcar " season VI winter and summer editions. She also became part of the cast of " 5 Para a Meia Noite " in channel RTP from the first until the fifth season of the show.
Her acting premiere in Theater was in Teatro Nacional D.Maria II, with the " Um Conto Americado - The Water Engine " staged by Maria Emília Correia.
Outside the stage, Manuela is also TV Producer and teacher.
