Angelo was born in Rome, Italy, in 1957. From the very beginning in his
youth he showed a deep passion in photography and writing. After
graduating cum laude from the Design European Institute, Rome
(Department of Photography. Degree thesis: 'Reading cinematographic
picture') he achieved Ars degree cum laude from University' La
Sapienza', Rome (Chair of 'Cinema history and criticism'. Degree
thesis: 'Futurism and Cinema'). At the start of the '80, he got several
photographic artistic collaborations with international leading figure
(some among them: Luigi Ghirri, Neal Slavin, Franco Fontana). In 1983
he established, with Luciano Marzulli, the firm 'Lo Specchio'. He
directed commercials and won several prizes. From 1985 to 1987 he held
the Chair of 'Reading pictures' to the Design European Institute of
Rome, Photography Department. In 1992 He developed, by 'Lo Specchio',
"Filmrecording" division, digital department for Cine and TV films. Up
to now he works on films together directors and cinematographers, from
shooting to post-production stages. In 1997, from Softimage Italy
(Milan), Angelo got his Master in 3D modeling and animation. In 2004
was founding member of 'Image and Light', D-Cinema sound/image
post-production, trading license Dolby in Italy for mastering and
encoding Digital and 3D films. In 2009 wrote with his wife Rita
Bugliosi, journalist, the treatment and the ultimate screenplay for
their first feature film. In 2011 he wrote with Rita the short film
'Come va a finire?' (How does it end?), filmed under his direction. In
2013, again with Rita, wrote and directed 'Il sorriso di Candida'
(Candida's smile), a short film that deals with Alzheimer's disease.
