And for that reason alone it's a tougher award.
- Although Van Gogh pioneered Impressionism his paintings have subliminal inserts of previous works painted in the petals of his sunflower paintings. Such as his iconic field workers and other works, their identical! I don't think anyone noticed this as he would've been recognized as a surrealist rather than a post impressionist.
- The genius of Shakespeare is that he wrote in code ie: Romeo & Juliet is not a love story but a story of betrayal. Romeo a name made up by Shakespeare to describe Rome to go with the name Juliet which means little Caesar. Her family represents the senate's betrayal and his family the people of Rome who Caesar loved. A betrayal of philos and agape encoded in a story of eros that people can identify with outlasting history.
