- Paul Dalio began studying Screenwriting at age 20 at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Dramatic Writing program where he received his BA in 2004. In 2007 he attended the NYU Graduate Film Program where he met his wife and collaborator, Kristina Nikolova. While at NYU Paul also met his professor Spike Lee who became his mentor and executive producer on his feature debut, "Touched with Fire," starring Katie Holmes and Luke Kirby. Paul wrote, directed, scored and co-edited the film which premiered at SXSW 2015 under the title "Mania Days." lt was released theatrically in February 2016 by Roadside Attractions, received the SAMHSA Voice Award, was a New York Times Critics' Pick and received a 94% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
