Band members Ryan Andrews, Scott Crawford and Mark Perry, who were part of Daughtry's pre-Idol band Absent Element, filed a lawsuit against the singer for "constructive fraud, breaches of fiduciary duty, unfair trade practices and other deceptive and wrongful conduct" last Thursday. In response to the allegations, the Idol alum posted a statement on the band's website on Friday. "I am very hurt by these false accusations. The songs listed in this lawsuit were written solely by me and no one else and at this time, I have no further comment."...

Crafted in a mere six days, director Ryan Andrews’ upcoming slasher flick “Black Eve” looks promising, that is, if you haven’t already grown impossibly tired of watching kids being killed inside an abandoned building. I happen to have a soft spot for movies set on Halloween, so I’m more than willing to overlook the film’s impossibly dated concept. What’s more, I’m a bit of an urban exploration nut, so the idea that this thing was lensed inside an actual abandoned mall is seriously intriguing. Here’s hoping the filmmakers make the most of it. Here’s what the film is all about: The West Jefferson Mall is closed down and set to be demolished. The department store was the sight of a grizzly murder/suicide years before and now. It’s the perfect location for a wicked Halloween party. Two floors, fifty thousand square feet,...

Because Ray Winstone is a tough East End geezer you wouldn’t expect him to team up with his actress daughter, Jaime Winstone, in some Paper Moon-like film. Instead the real-life father and daughter are making a horror film together. Nice.
We’ve been sent over the full press release for the film entitled Elfie Hopkins. Winstone senior plays the maddest on-screen butcher since Hilary Briss! Looks like this could be a goodun.

The one, the only, Robert Nolan is the ultimate chameleon slipping in and out of roles with such ease. He has appeared in dozens of short films including some genre fare like Richard Powell's "Worm", Ryan M. Andrews's "The Devil Walks Among You", and Daniel Reininghaus's "Eyes Beyond" to name a few. We got the chance to ask this incredibly talented actor a few questions. Here is what he had to say.
So for those unfamiliar with you, who is Robert Nolan and what are you all about?
Aside from knowing my own name and that I exist on this planet right now, exactly who I am remains as mysterious a world to me as you are to you. Does anyone really know exactly who they are and what they are all about? The depths of the interior human are as infinite as the universe our bodies inhabit.
