The 43-year-old actor - teamed with professional skater Susie Lipanova - lost out in the skate-off against athlete Sharron Davies last night (24.01.10). Jeremy did not appear too upset to be leaving the show, however, because of the pain training had caused him. He said: ''I am disappointed obviously, but am ever so slightly relieved that we're not going to be in so much pain. ''I felt I was starting to get up to speed but it was just too little too late.'' Jeremy Sheffield has become the third celebrity to be voted off Dancing On Ice. Tonight was the first time the male and female contestants had performed in the same show. However, after the judges' scores and viewers' votes had been added together, the actor found himself in the bottom two alongside Sharron Davies, who was in the skate-off for the second time. Both contestants then had to repeat their routines in an attempt to persuade the panel to keep them in the competition. Soap actor Todd Carty has become the latest celebrity to be voted off Dancing On Ice. Carty, who had been dubbed the John Sergeant of the series due to his accident-prone skating style, only scored 8.5 points from the judges for his performance to Nat King Cole's 'Smile'. Unlike previous weeks, Carty and professional skater Susie Lipanova were not saved by the public vote and entered the skate-off with former rugby international Ellery Hanley and Frankie Poultney.
