Over the past several years, Chase Sapphire has become one of the leading sponsors for the Sundance Film Festival, hosting a series of events and parties during the festival. In addition to these events, Chase offers a variety of opportunities for its cardholders visiting Park City, including exclusive ticketing and pass access for many of the festival's screenings and events. This year's Sundance marked the third year that Chase Sapphire has partnered with the festival. Warner Bros is to release a Watchmen Collector's Edition in the USA on November 13, the company has announced.
It will include a Blu-ray with the 3hrs 35mins Ultimate Cut of the movie - which incorporates the Tales of the Black Freighter animated feature based on a secondary story within the original comic.
Also included is the complete motion comic, two hours of bonus features, the theatrical cut on DVD and a hardcover edition of the graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. The recommended retail price is $74.99.
There are no plans yet announced for a UK release of this new edition. In fact, the Ultimate Cut has so far never been released in the UK but previously appeared on both DVD and Blu-ray in the USA.
Another graphic novel hoping to make the journey to the big screen is The Order.

Framelight Prods. and Arcana Studios are set to co-produce film adaptations of the graphic novels "El Arsenal" and "Frozen Wasteland" says Variety.
"El Arsenal" is set in the future when the world is on the verge of collapse and mankind's best hope lies with a Mexican mercenary who's seeking a powerful biological weapon in cockroaches.
Michael Miner ("Robocop") is in talks to adapt the screenplay.
"Frozen Wasteland" is set in an America covered in snow as rival gangs fight for control in Los Angeles, where law and order has collapsed and the government is afraid it will lose the city.
Jeffrey D. Erb, Robert L. Robinson Jr. and Sean O'Reilly will produce both films.

Arcana's science fiction comic Continuum is to be adapted for cinema, it has been reported. According to Variety, Hollywood production company Benderspink has landed the rights to the property. Luximation Films is set to produce an animated feature adaptation of the graphic novel "The Clockwork Girl" according to a just issued press release.
The first in a series, 'Girl' is a coming of age tale about a young robot girl named Tesla and a young monster boy named Huxley who set out to save their world from destruction.
Alexa Vega and Jesse McCartney will voice the two characters. Joining them are Carrie-Anne Moss as Admiral Wells, Brad Garrett as T-Bolt and Jeffrey Tambor as Wilhelm.
Deboragh Gabler and Sean O'Reilly will produce while Kevin Hanna will direct.

Legacy Filmworks is looking to adapt Arcana Studios' 2005 comic book "American Wasteland." The production outfit has tapped William Penick and Chris Sey to pen the script for producers Sean O'Reilly and Deboragh Gabler. The comic, written by R.D. Hall, tells of truck driver Cletus McCoy, who only wants one thing: to get back home and save his Mama from a fate worse than death. But, in a world crumbling into a vampire apocalypse, that is easier said than done. San Diego Comic Con International has unveiled the Thursday, July 22 schedule for this year's event. Early the day from 10.00 A.M. to 11.00 A.M., DreamWorks Animation will present "Megamind" with voice cast Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, and Jonah Hill and director Tom McGrath promised to attend and unveil new footage from the film.

Publisher Arcana Studios has unveiled a new graphic novel project titled Killing Machine. Penned by screenwriter Scott Milam, the book tells the story of an undercover agent who witnesses his family's murder at the hands of a criminal organisation who then leave him for dead.
