Ever since the Palace announced in mid-January that the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) had abdominal surgery and needed a lengthy recovery, there has been tons of speculation about her health and wild conspiracy theories regarding her whereabouts.
The princess put all that to rest once and for all by recording an emotional video announcing that she has cancer and is currently undergoing “preventative chemotherapy.” This comes less than two months after the Palace released a statement that her father-in-law, King Charles, had cancer and was undergoing treatment as well.
There are many questions now from the public, including what type of cancer she has. However, Kate did not disclose that information, and therefore the Palace is respecting her privacy by not revealing that either. Another question people are asking is why she waited this long to share the information, given all the rumors about her that have been spreading like wildfire.

The funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday, Sep. 19, is shaping up to be a global spectacle. World leaders, including President Biden, will be in attendance, and the world’s media will be there, too.
The queen’s funeral will be the first time such an event has been broadcast on television. In 1952, when Queen Elizabeth ascended to the throne, the funeral procession of King George VI was televised in the U.K., but the funeral itself remained private. Not so this time.
While the BBC will be the official broadcaster of the proceedings, every U.S. TV news organization will be in attendance, flying in many of their top anchors and blowing up their typical programming lineups to carry it live.
Here’s what’s planned from the U.S. TV news networks.

Unpopular option: opening and closing your own car door is not that big of a deal. But apparently it is, since Meghan Markle's bold move at her first solo royal engagement in 2018 became the car door heard round the world. Whether the royals are more afraid of breaking tradition or breaking a nail is unclear, but when sister-in-law Kate Middleton was spotted just a few days later breaking royal car door protocol once again, the plot thickened. We know that the Duchess of Sussex can no longer sign autographs, take selfies, or participate in social media, but does royal decorum really prohibit the royal family from handling their own car doors?
According to etiquette expert William Hanson, closing their own car doors did not constitute a breach of royal protocol. As Hanson told Radio 1 Newsbeat, "Usually, if you are a member of the royal family or a dignitary, you...

Let’s assume that you, like me, were not among the 600 guests to receive an invitation to attend the wedding of Britain’s Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Nor will we be among the thousands invited to stand on the grounds of Windsor Castle to watch the wedding party enter and leave. Thankfully, the Internet has us covered.
Here are some ways to watch the royal wedding, which is scheduled for 7 Am Et/zero dark ugly Pt on Saturday.
YouTube
The Royal Family will live-stream the festivities on the Royal Family’s official YouTube channel — that’s the feed Deadline will use Saturday morning. The coverage will follow the wedding procession, the ceremony at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, and wedding day happenings along the way. The footage will be available afterwards so people can watch at their convenience, whether they’re from Blighty or anywhere else on the globe.

Life with a newborn seems to be going well for Prince William and Kate Middleton. Just days after the proud parents welcomed their third child, the Duke of Cambridge attended an Anzac Day service at Westminster Abbey in London. There, he gave an update on his new baby boy. "Sleeping's going reasonably well so far," he said in a video tweeted by the Daily Mirror's royal correspondent Victoria Murphy. "So, he's behaving himself, which is good." The royal also revealed that both the child and Kate are "doing very well." He even joked about possible baby names. When Australian High Commissioner Alexander Downer asked William if he's considered the name Alexander...

Princess Eugenie just announced her engagement to her longtime boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank — and now she’s showing off her dazzling ring.
In two new portraits released after the news of the engagement Monday morning, Eugenie, 27, wears a blush-colored padparadscha sapphire ring surrounded by diamonds, along with a floral dress by Erdem and Jimmy Choo shoes.
Majesty magazine points out the close similarity between Eugenie’s ring and that of her mom, Sarah, Duchess of York.
As @MajestyMagazine just pointed out to me there is a striking similarity between Princess Eugenie's engagement ring and her mother @SarahTheDuchess's engagement ring. How lovely pic.

So cute! Princess Charlotte gives her first diplomatic handshake #RoyalVisitGermany pic.twitter.com/C3fXva87hK - Victoria Murphy (@QueenVicMirror) July 19, 2017 The British royal family is in the middle of their official tour of Poland and Germany, but all we can really focus on is the youngest member of the clan: Princess Charlotte. The adorable 2-year-old has been the center of attention without even trying ever since they kicked off their trip. After staying close to mom, Kate Middleton, while getting off the plane in Poland on Monday (in her Uncle Harry's hand-me-down shoes, no less), she stopped to smell a bouquet of flowers when they touched down in Germany on Wednesday. And it was during that same arrival that Charlotte had a very big and sweet milestone: her first diplomatic handshake. In a video captured by Daily Mirror's royal correspondent Victoria Murphy, Charlotte is seen shaking hands with a German official.

Kate Middleton is joking about expanding her family! (Or is she?)
The mom of two is currently in Poland, where she was gifted a baby present before she reportedly turned to Prince William and told him that they may need to have more children.
News: Prince George and Princess Charlotte Are Too Cute Arriving in Poland
“Kate was given a present for a newborn today and joked to William: ‘We will just have to have more babies,” tweeted royal correspondent Victoria Murphy on Monday.
Fans debated the meaning of the comment, with one responding, “I am so ready for it!” while another was more dubious. “I expect she joked about it because it’s not something they’re serious about,” replied the Twitter user.
The royal couple is already parents to 3-year-old Prince George and 2-year-old Princess Charlotte.

Princess Charlotte had a very memorable outing on Thursday when she attended a party for military families held at the Government House in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, with her family. The event was part of their exciting eight-day tour of the country, and while there, the supercute 1-year-old played with balloons, casually sat on a giant dog (as one does), and spoke her very first (public) word. Was it "peasants"? "The throne is mine"? Apparently as she banged her tiny, adorable fists on some sturdy, pastel balloons, she was heard shouting "pop, pop!" while her father, Prince William, looked on. She then called him "Dada," instantly melting the hearts of everyone within a 10-mile radius. Since touching down at the Victoria Airport on Saturday with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Will and wife Kate Middleton have been enjoying multiple events in the area. The royal pair bonded with Prime Minister...

When it comes to parent playdate fashions, the rules are simple: 1. keep it comfy; 2. keep it simple; 3. for the love of graham crackers and juice boxes, Never wear white. Princess Kate, in a bold maneuver only a royal mom would attempt to pull off, flouted the rules and went with an all-white look for the family's much-anticipated playdate in Canada on Thursday. While chasing nearly 17-month-old balloon-loving Princess Charlotte and 3-year-old Prince George, Kate opted for See by Chloé's pointelle-knit cotton-blend dress, which retails for $460. • Want to keep up with the latest royals coverage?
