Paul Walker was one of the biggest sweethearts in Hollywood’s entire entertainment industry, especially renowned for starring in masterpieces from the Fast and Furious franchise. But after starring in only six movies from the fan-favorite saga, the late actor faced his unexpected death at the age of 40 on one blurry night due to a brutal accident in his Porsche.

However, while many fans know that the cause of his death was the collision of his car with a curb, tree, and a light pole, what they don’t know is that this is only something scratching the surface of what actually happened that night. If anything, the autopsy reports brought forward such horrors from the incident that even Fast and Furious fans would be scared to drive a car after reading it.

Paul Walker could have been cast as Clark Kent, the Man of Steel. The late actor’s manager, Matt Luber, and stunt double, Oakley Lehman, revealed in the 2018 documentary I Am Paul Walker that the Fast & Furious star walked away from a multi-million dollar deal.
Luber said in the doc, which recently aired on The CW, that Walker “was screen testing for Superman,” adding, “I think it was a $10 million deal, and he was the frontrunner.”
Lehman, who was also Walker’s childhood friend, said the actor “was up for it” and “knew he was thinking about doing it.”
“I knew he did not want to do three or four Superman [films] and be Superman for the rest of his life,” Lehman continued.
According to Luber, Walker was auditioning for the superhero role and donning the Superman costume when the actor decided it was not for him.

Vin Diesel has been making the rounds promoting his new film Bloodshot (which needs all the help it can get at this point) and in addition to that, has been giving updates on Fast & Furious 9. The next installment in the Fast Saga was originally set for release in May with the actor assuring fans that the movie would keep its release date despite the recent coronavirus pandemic.
Unfortunately, though, Diesel doesn’t run Universal and F9 has been moved a full year to April 2021. That gives the entire production more time to work on the film if need be and based on a recent post from Vin on social media, there’s now speculation that Brian O’Conner, played by the late Paul Walker, will return to the series.

It's been five years since Paul Walker passed away. I thought the Fast and Furious franchise did a wonderful job giving the actor and character the perfect send-off in Furious 7. They were able to pull that off with the help of his brothers Caleb and Cody and now those brothers would like to see Paul's character return to the franchise. That seems like it would be tricky to pull off, but they are open to trying to find a way to make it happen.
Personally, I don't think that needs to happen. I love Paul and his character in the franchise, but the franchise closed the book on the character the best way that they could and trying to bring him back at this point seems like a bad idea. While talking to the AP, Caleb said:

"That guy made the best of every single minute." Paramount Network has debuted an official trailer for a documentary titled I Am Paul Walker, about the late actor who died in a car crash in 2013. The feature-length documentary is the latest from filmmaker Adrian Buitenhuis, who also made the docs I Am Heath Ledger and I Am Sam Kinison previously. We're breaking our rule of not covering any TV, only because this is a film about an actor and it's still a real film though it's premiering on a TV network. The doc features appearances by Fast and Furious actor Tyrese Gibson and director Rob Cohen, director Wayne Kramer, family members Cody Walker, Caleb Walker, Ashlie Walker, Cheryl Walker, and Paul Walker III; Oakley Lehman, Dr. Michael Domeier, plus his manager Matt Luber. The untimely death of Paul Walker in 2013 cast a long shadow on the Fast And The Furious franchise. Production on Furious 7 even shut down completely for a time as the powers that be questioned how, or even if, they could proceed. Ultimately, though, the robust box office totals for the series helped determine that Furious 7 would provide Walker’s Brian O’Conner with a tasteful, $1.5 billion-grossing swan song.

Universal Pictures has nixed rumors that Paul Walker's brother, Cody Walker, will appear in the upcoming "Fast 8". A rep for the studio tells Polygon that "there's no truth behind it" in regards to a rumor that popped up this week.
Following the tragic death of Paul Walker in a car crash during the production of "Furious 7," his brother Cody was asked to stand in for several scenes. At the time there was even talk Cody may end up taking over the role for future sequels, but it was morbid speculation more than anything.
NBC Universal vice chairman Ron Meyer suggested a few months ago that Paul would be "represented in some form or another" in future films. Then recently Cody's name was added to the IMDb credits for the film which prompted this correction from the studio. That IMDb listing is no longer there.

When actor Paul Walker died in a car accident during the filming of Furious 7, his brother Cody was asked to stand in for him so that the movie's final scenes could be filmed. Recent rumors indicated that might be the plan again for the next film in the franchise Fast 8. Unfortunately for fans of Brian O.Connor, it looks like those rumors were untrue and that character has finally driven off into the sunset. Recently, it was noted that Cody Walker.s name had been added to the IMDb page for the new film, seeming to imply that he would be returning to, in some form, take on the role that his brother made famous once again. Polygon reached out to Universal Pictures for a comment and what they heard back put an end to that speculation. There's no truth behind it. As of now Cody Walker.s...

Meadow Rain is claiming that her father survived the impact of the crash, but "breathed soot into his trachea while the Porsche Carrera Gt burned" because he was trapped inside.
Porsche North America is yet to publicly respond to the suit, but the widow of the car's driver Roger Rodas is also suing Porsche over the crash that killed both men.

Paul Walker's youngest brother Cody is boarding his first significant feature film role after lending a hand on Fast & Furious 7.
The 27-year-old helped Universal Pictures out in the recent Furious instalment, after the death of Paul in December 2013.
According to Deadline, Cody is starting his own acting career with a major supporting role in USS Indianapolis, alongside Nicolas Cage.
Cage plays Captain Charles McVay in the Mario Van Peebles-directed feature, who was commander of a boat that sank in 1945, resulting in massive loss of life.
Based on a true story, McVay's boat was hit by a torpedo that was on a secret mission, leaving 1,196 men waiting for rescue for four days. Only 317 survived after sharks began eating those who managed to get off-board.
Cody is set to play one of the soldiers fighting for survival.
The newcomer signed up with Paradigm Talent Agency back in April.
