Very recently, the music of Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana was launched. Spearheaded by the leading men of the film, Vivaan Shah and Gurmeet Choudhary, the event was also graced by singers Ankit Tiwari, Sukhwinder Singh and Palak Mucchal. However the focal point of the film, Akshara Haasan (who plays Laali), was missing from the event.
“That was because her uncle Chandrahasan (elder brother of Kamal Haasan) passed away in London. The 82-year-old producer-lawyer was at the residence of his daughter Anu Hasan, when he suffered a cardiac arrest. It was a tragic moment for Akshara due to which she could not make it for the event,” informs our source.
However, as the adage goes, the show must go on, and hence the makers decided to proceed with the event and none of the fun-n-frolic stopped either in the spirit of the film’s celebratory narrative. As for Akshara...
