- Susan Brennan is a screenwriter, poet, and story alchemist. - As a child, she spent most of her time roaming the woods, climbing trees, and hiding out at the public library. Her early years were spent typing up poems and listening to rock albums - and she still has all of her vinyl.
- Susan earned her theatre arts undergraduate degree at S.U.N.Y. New Paltz and her graduate degree in poetry at NYU Graduate School.
- A life-long yoga practitioner, she earned her teacher training through Jivamukti's year-long program, where, on retreat, she experimented with doing headstands in the snow.
- Susan has organized, hosted, and participated in various readings and reading series, including a Haiku Series at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden's Sakura Festival, Bowery Poetry Club's New Year's Day Marathon, Aerial Text Experiments at Circus Warehouse, New York City Poetry Festival (Governor's Island), The World's Oldest Ship, and Split This Rock Poetry Festival.
