You’ll be able to smash watermelons and make sandwiches in the upcoming Taskmaster VR game, based on the hit series.
Virtual reality is often hyped as the immersive future of everything, but often, the technology’s at its best when it lets us do odd things like jetwash a van or picking up rubbish using gigantic tentacles.
With this in mind, perhaps, indie developer Scallywag Arcade has announced that it’s making a VR game based on the hit television series, Taskmaster. Taking its cue from the show, Taskmaster VR will allow players to take part in an array of wilfully silly challenges – these can range from smashing watermelons to making sandwiches to popping bubbles with a samurai sword.
Judging by the trailer (see below), the game captures the show’s batty spirit in both its tone and low-poly graphics, with hosts Greg Davies and Alex Horne both appearing as digital versions of themselves.

Of this week’s three “American Idol” contestants who were eliminated from the Top 14, fans think pop artist Allegra Miles was most robbed of a spot in the Top 11. This 18-year-old Florida resident first broke onto the scene on Season 18 of “The Voice,” where she became a member of Team Nick Jonas but was eliminated in the Top 9. In our recent poll, 35 of “Idol” viewers say Allegra was most robbed, followed by rock star Ava Maybee at 28 and country crooner Dan Marshall at 22. The “None of them” option nabbed the remaining 15 of votes.

And just like that, Danielle Finn‘s journey on “American Idol” has come to an end.
