- Roger Horchow was born on July 3, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. He was an actor, known for The X Files: I Want to Believe (2008), Stanley Marcus Documentary and The 54th Annual Tony Awards (2000). He died on May 2, 2020 in Dallas, Texas, USA.
- He wrote three books: Elephants in Your Mailbox (1980), Living in Style (1981) and with his daughter Sally Horchow, The Art of Friendship (2006).
- From the proceeds of his sale of the Horchow Collection to Neiman Marcus, he launched his career as a Broadway producer starting with Crazy for You. He followed that with Kiss Me, Kate, Curtains, the revivals of Gypsy in 2008 and Annie in 2012 and ended his Broadway producing career with Bandstand in 2017.
- Served in the US Army during the Korean War.
- Former Neiman Marcus employee who left the company and bought the failing Kenton Collection which he turned into The Horchow Collection, a luxury mail-order catalog in 1971. In 1988 he sold the company to Neiman Marcus. At the time the annual sales was over $100 million.
- He was an investor in the Broadway plays Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera, The Book of Mormon and Hamilton.
