- She has pioneering ancestors on both sides of her family:
Her mother's ancestor, Henri LaMarre dit Belisle, was one of the original settlers of Detroit. Belisle was Detroit's first physician and surgeon after his arrival with the Cadillac party in 1701. Her family was recognized at the Detroit Tricentennial by Mayor Dennis Archer.
Her father's ancestor, Pilgrim George Soule, was a passenger on the Mayflower. He was a signer of The Mayflower Compact in 1620. - Received her BFA Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
- Studied at the MXAT - Moscow Art Theatre School.
- A distant cousin of Madonna, both born on August 16th.
- Twins run in both sides of her family.
- She is the middle child in a family of six.
- She worked under the direction of Mark Rothman (Laverne & Shirley) in the stage play "The Wearing Of The Greens".

- Lauren is also a singer. She played the Witch in Into the Woods at Wayne State University.
