Scott Speedman is making is way back to the small screen.
After starring in ABC's quickly-canceled Navy drama "Last Resort" last fall, Speedman has joined the cast of Ryan Murphy's HBO drama pilot, "Open."
THR reports that Speedman will star in the sexuality-exploring drama in the role of Jonathan, a handsome sports agent. He joins previously announced cast member Wes Bentley ("The Hunger Games").
"Open" is described as "a multi-character exploration of the complex, ever-evolving landscape of sexuality, monogamy and intimacy in relationships." Murphy and "Dexter" alum Lauren Gussis wrote the pilot together and will executive produce.
Bentley will play the handsome, yet arrogant, Evan Foster, a bit of a blowhard who loves espousing his theories on human sexuality."
