Welcome to this review of 2023’s All Out pay-per-view, which once again emanated from Chicago and the United Center. It was interesting to speculate what the reaction of the Chicago crowd would be given recent events in the company but… any crowd can appreciate a good pay-per-view and this was a good pay-per-view! Let’s see what went down:
Zero Hour Match #1: The Over Budget Charity Battle Royale – Winner: “Hangman” Adam Page The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
The winner earns $50K to give to the charity of their choice! Tony Nese began the match by doing pushups. He was quickly eliminated. Serpentico was swarmed by Menard, Hager, Garcia, and Parker. They quickly tossed him out. Aussie Open knocked Shawn Spears out with stereo thrust kicks. Brian Cage powerbombed Komander and then the Mogul Embassy hurled Komander over the top. My Score: 0 out of 5 Match #2: Jay White def. Dalton Castle The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Dalton grappled Jay White to the mat, showing off his high level amateur wrestling background. Jay White chopped Dalton Castle to the mat and then tossed him out of the ring. The Boys helped Dalton back into the ring and he took down White. Dalton charged Jay with a running knee,...

Another episode of Aew: Dark and another short post-Double or Nothing show. After yesterday’s 20-minute Elevation we get a sub-30 minute episode of Dark And another title defence for Mercedes Martinez! Taz and Excalibur are joined by Caprice Coleman on commentary for the matches this week!
Match #1: Roh Women’s Championship – Mercedes Martinez def. Viva Van
My Thoughts: The veteran Mercedes Martinez faces yeat another “green” wrestler in Viva Van, who only has three years under her belt compared to Martinez’s 21 years in the business! This was a patented (by me) Aew quasi-squash match, with Van given a little room to get some offence in before being dominated by Martinez. Better than Martinez’s Elevation match.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: The Butcher & The Blade def. Hunter Grey & Paul Titan

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation which runs a ridiculously short twenty minutes and One second. We’ve only got two, yes two, matches on the card, one of which is Another title defence for Mercedes Martinez. Let’s get into it!
Match #1: Konosuke Takeshita def. Ryan Nemeth
My Thoughts: Konosuke Takeshita goes from a banger of a match against Adam Page to slumming it with Ryan Nemeth. Ok, so it gets him more experience on Aew television but he’s already out-classed the likes of Nemeth in his existing Aew matches so this feels like a step back for a guy who, Imho, could be in one of Aew’s title races right now. Now.

Welcome to this week’s Nxt review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and you need to hear the story of Chochco. Chochco was peeing in a baby stroller one day when a man asked him what time it was. Chochco chucked the baby into the pond and said that it was time for him to go f–k himself. As a duck beat the s–t out of the drowning baby, the man gave Chochco the finger. Chochco, as aliens abducted the baby and turned it into a gay cyborg named Bendy, punched the man and screamed “I have diabetes!” In court, Chochco explained to the judge that he was rude to the man, because he had diabetes. The Judge, who thought The Cure was a good band (bull-s–t), said that he had never heard about diabetes making someone violent. Chochco pulled his fingers out of his ass and replied,...

Match #1: Nikki Cross def. Mercedes Martinez The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Nikki Cross and her brand of chaos opened this week’s Nxt, but this time Nxt’s Twisted Sister engaged in a fierce battle against former Mae Young Classic competitor Mercedes Martinez, who recently put on a classic against Meiko Satomura in the tournament’s Second Round. Stepping inside the yellow ropes this week, The Latina Sensation carried that same energy, along with presenting a massive hurdle for Nxt’s Twisted Sister.
In a true battle of brute force and unhinged aggression, the two brawlers vigorously (and visibly) pushed each other to their limits. When Cross attempted a sleeper hold, Martinez thrust her into the turnbuckle. When Martinez locked in a suffocating guillotine,...

Worst Promo:
Greatest Man Who…Wouldn’t Shut Up (Impact Wrestling) - Austin Aries is a good talker… for about a minute and a half. Match #1: Toni Storm def. Hiroyo Matsumoto in a Second-Round Match The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Toni Storm was in a state of disbelief after pinning Hiroyo Matsumoto in the first match of the Second Round. After all, Lady Godzilla clobbered The Lightning Down Under with everything she had throughout the match. Although the tenacious Storm returned fire, breaking Matsumoto’s momentum from time to time with a snap-suplex here or a headbutt there, she couldn’t string together more than a few moves before Matsumoto regained control. Matsumoto even thrashed Storm with her devastating Rock Drop signature move, but Storm’s ring awareness saved the day, as she draped her foot over the bottom rope to break the pinfall. Mercedes Martinez, Chris Weitz, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, and Peter Facinelli. From PatrickMcMullan.com. Vancouver is dubbed the “Hollywood of the North” because so many movies are filmed in the city. In fact, during the Olympics, the Seth Rogen–produced film I’m with Cancer, which stars Rogen and James McAvoy, is actually braving shooting. But perhaps the project that’s really brought the Vancouver film community into the spotlight is the Twilight saga, which filmed its second and third installments in the Canadian city. When I met Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, and other Twilight cast members at a screening of New Moon last November in New York City, I asked a few of the stars what they would suggest Winter Games tourists do while in town.
