BAFTA has pulled the curtain back on its Television Awards nominations, and This Is Going To Hurt and The Responder are leading the chase for a famous bronze mask.
The BBC dramas each have six nominations across the BAFTA Television Awards and BAFTA Television Craft Awards, including Leading Actor for Ben Whishaw and Martin Freeman.
Whishaw plays junior doctor Adam Kay in This Is Going To Hurt, which was co-produced by AMC. Freeman features as an urgent response police officer in The Responder.
This Is Going To Hurt is nominated for Mini Series, while The Responder will compete in the Drama Series race. Adam Kay and Tony Schumacher will both do battle in the Writer: Drama category at the BAFTA Television Craft Awards.

"Britain's Missing Top Model" is a unique format for a modeling contest that challenges the stereotypes on the fashion industry. The contest is between eight girls who are all aspiring models, but all have a disability. Each week the girls will go through a series of challenges that will eventually lead to one of them winning.
The show begins on December 5th on BBC America at 9pm Et/Pt and the first episode will introduce the girls as they all move in to a London apartment and retell their stories behind their disabilities. Their mentor, Jonathan Phang, who was a modeling agent for 20 years, takes the girls through the modeling industry and teaches them the tricks of the trade.

Michael Jackson fans can compete for the chance to dance in front of his family. New TV show 'Move Like Michael Jackson' will start filming in the UK later this month and contestants will battle it out for the chance to star in an official tribute concert for the late pop star in front of the Jackson family. A spokesman for the BBC3 series said: "The winner won't necessarily be the dancer who mimics Michael Jackson's choreography, but rather someone who can move like him, creating and inventing iconic steps and styles."
