- Lee wrote, directed, produced and published his first play, Juke Box Baby, for 1956 Theatre's month-long Rep Season at Salford Arts Theatre in 2014.
- His dog 'Abel' is named after the son of "Jax Teller" in the American TV Series "Sons of Anarchy". Charlie Hunnam who played the role is also one of Lee's biggest inspirations.
- Lee appeared in a Nike Football advert when he was 18 years old alongside Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand, both of whom were playing for Manchester United at the time, Lee's favorite club.
- Lee set up his own acting school in London in 2018, teaching Practical Aesthetics for Screen Acting.
- I'm a northerner and a bit of a cynic - whenever there has been a crisis in my life it has always been dealt with by use of comedy and trying to 'lighten up the situation' I guess that has had a heavy influence on my writing. I like to write 'Black Comedy' because I like to say things that everyone else is thinking but don't dare to say, writing allows me to express the things that are too close to the bone in 'real life'.
