Members of the cast and crew of the popular TV drama One Tree Hill are standing together with their accusations of sexual harassment and misconduct against the series' former showrunner Mark Schwahn.
Sophia Bush, Hilarie Burton, Bethany Joy Lenz and "all of the female cast members" of the WB/CW series -- as well as several female crew members -- penned an open letter, released to Et on Monday, in which they spoke out "in support of Audrey Wauchope and one another."
Wauchope -- who worked as a staff writer on One Tree Hill alongside her writing partner, Rachel Specter -- took to Twitter over the weekend to accuse the showrunner -- whom she did not mention by name -- of sexual harassment during her time on the show.
However, the recent open letter penned by the cast and crew accused Schwahn directly, stating, "To use terminology that has become familiar as the systemic reality of sexual...

Matthew Schuler has wow’d me week after week, and honestly — I can’t remember a time that I’ve ever seen such a talented, male singer take ‘The Voice’ stage (with the exception of Adam and Blake).
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. Christina Aguilera‘s team will absolutely win The Voice this season. We’ve heard “Hallelujah” on almost every signing competition — but Matthew Schuler‘s rendition has to be one of the best renditions ever.
Matthew Schuler: Why He Could Win ‘The Voice’
When you hear a song over and over again, year after year, on every show, it gets old — fast. However, Matthew did something different than other artists have. Honestly, this was the most unique and impressive version, even bumping my favorite by Kate Voegele.

Last night’s season finale of One Tree Hill was not just about goodbyes but growing up and reconnecting. The execution of setting an hour long episode, the season finale in particular into a year time span was brilliant.
Viewers first started following Chase (Stephen Colletti) from the moment he said goodbye to Alex (Jana Kramer) and attempted to say goodbye to Chuck (Michael May) as he left for the Air Force. Having Chuck not say goodbye to Chase but see him leave made for a far less emotional goodbye than what may have been expected. It was still heartfelt but very simple and bittersweet. Not bitter but not sweet either was seeing Chase hold up a magazine with Alex on the cover with another man. A picture may say a thousands words, but those words are not always correct. So even though it was quite pleasant watching Chase catch...

Tuesday's Season 8 finale of "One Tree Hill" was not the series finale -- just hours before airtime, The CW officially picked up a 13-episode Season 9. That said, it could have easily served as a satisfying end to the series. Though Mark Schwahn shot several cliffhangers to end the season on in case Season 9 got the green light, he ultimately decided to end with some closure.
The season ender spanned a year - so much time that Brooke Davis (Sophia Bush) went from having just learned of her pregnancy to giving birth to twin boys, Davis and Jude. With Davis, Brooke and Julian (Austin Nichols) stuck with the Tree Hill trend of naming their kids after their mothers' maiden names, while Jude's name came from "Hey Jude," which John Lennon wrote for his son, Julian.

At The CW's Upfront presentation on May 19, the network will announce their schedule for the 2011-2012 season, and "One Tree Hill" fans will finally learn whether or not their beloved characters will come back for an incredible ninth season on the air. Fans and cast alike have been actively campaigning to extend the series for at least one more year, and new series regular Stephen Colletti is no exception.
Though Colletti first joined the show in Season 4 (remember Chase as a Clean Teen?) he's only recently been added to the title credits as a main cast member. He's got his fingers crossed that Season 9 will get picked up -- he's already contracted to return -- so that Chase can get a chance to be more integrated with the rest of the characters.
But what of the critics who say that the series has run its course?

Plus, Stephen tells us Chase will Finally choose between Mia & Alex! Which girl you think he should pick?
One Tree Hill fans were thrown for a loop (pun intended) last week when “bar manager” Chase (Stephen Colletti) revealed his plans to leave Tree Hill and join the Air Force! But is he really taking off for good? “Chase has some big decisions to make,” Stephen tells HollywoodLife.com. “Whether or not he decides to go into the Air Force will definitely play out. He’ll be faced with: Does he leave and hurt all these people, or does he stay and not be true to himself?”
And it sounds like Chase’s big-brother relationship with Chuck (Michael May) will play a major role in his decision.

We may not yet know whether or not One Tree Hill will be back for a ninth season in the fall — but we do know we’ll be seeing a whole lotta Stephen Colletti if it does! “It’s in my contract to do another season,” he tells HollywoodLife.com. “I’m in. I’m forced to. … No, I’d be excited.”
And it sounds like Chase’s love triangle with Alex (Jana Kramer) and Mia (Kate Voegele) is still very much in tact this season, even though it seemed pretty clear at Brooke (Sophia Bush) and Julian’s (Austin Nichols) wedding reception that he’d chosen Mia.
“Chase is just having a whirlwind with this love triangle,” Stephen tells us. “He’s not that kind of guy. He’s not someone who’s a player.

Angel Taylor’s music is bubbly and sweet in all the right ways. I saw her in concert about three years ago when she opened for Kate Voegele. She handed out copies of her Love Travels Ep after the show and chatted with fans.
Tambay mentioned the search for a black Taylor Swift via What About Our Daughters and Taylor’s “Chai Tea Latte” came to mind. She sings about boys, coffeehouse dates, and all the universal things that girls (and women) can relate to.
Watch her latest video after the jump…
I’d like to see some black filmmakers include her music on a soundtrack. For more info visit her official website.

"One Tree Hill" star Jana Kramer premiered her first country single, "I Won't Give Up," on the show's Feb. 8 episode, "Holding Out for a Hero," and we loved it.
Kramer's acting career has so far trumped her singing career, but her passion certainly lies with music. The Michigan-born and now Nashville-based country hopeful was recently signed to Warner Music, which she's thrilled about if the exclamation points in her tweets are any indication. "My song 'I won't give up' is available on itunes now!!!!!!! Spread the love!!! I'm so grateful and blessed to have such amazing fans!!!!!!"
Yes, "Oth" fans, you can nab the song, and an acoustic version here.
"One Tree Hill" has an impressive track record for launching up-and-coming artists, from Wakey!Wakey! to Kate Voegele, among many others. We're thinking that if Kramer's country vibe can catch on with the show's fans, her music career's got a good head start.

No runaway bride, no miscarriage and definitely no limos driving off any bridges!
For the first time in Tree Hill history, a wedding actually went off without a hitch — and no one deserved a happy ending more than Brooke Davis (Sophia Bush), who’s been regularly screwed over for the past eight seasons (and 11+ TV years.) And while part of me will always be bummed that Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Peyton (Hilarie Burton) missed their best friend’s wedding, the rest of me loved the Feb. 1 episode of One Tree Hill too much to care.
Sophia herself put it best on Twitter once, when she wrote that “Brucas” (aka the epic romance that was Brooke & Lucas) was merely a road to “Leyton” (aka the eventual holy union of Lucas & Peyton.) Nov. 16’s Thanksgiving episode brought out tears, secrets & So Much Jello salad!
I feel like I had a real Thanksgiving tonight. Granted, my family members were replaced by the sexy, emotional creatures of Tree Hill, so there was slightly more drama involved. There was a friendly game of touch football… but it ended in a fist fight between Alex (Jana Kramer) and Mia (Kate Voegele); there was a ridiculous spread of food… but most of it came in the form of alcohol; and there was the long-awaited return of a family member, Quinn (Shantel VanSanten)… but she might also be a murderer! Yup, only slightly more drama than normal.
Jailbird Victoria (Daphne Zuniga) crashed Thanksgiving at the James-Scott household, which put her in the same room as Brooke (Sophia Bush) for the first time since their heated prison confrontation. As you can imagine, the results were… not fantastic. As a matter of fact,...

At this risk of incurring the wrath of readers, I'm gonna to have bad things to say about One Tree Hill once again this week.
Nothing really happened on "Mouthful of Diamonds" and in the moments when meaningful action could have been taking place, it was once again drowned out by the music.
The major problem I had with season seven, and a good chunk of season six, was that the there was way too much song overlay. A great song placement can do wonders in adding drama to a scene. This is something I thought One Tree Hill did really well in the early days.
I always commended its use of music. Somewhere around the middle of season six, I started to notice how much of the show was nothing but music. We would go scene to scene with an over-sappy song playing over an over-dramatized moment. It got to be too much.

Also, where the eff has Quinn been for the past two weeks? Does she have better things to do than help her boyfriend open a can of soup?
The Nov. 9 episode of One Tree Hill took things slowly. And when I say “slow,” I mean the episode’s biggest action scene involved Clay (Robert Buckley) struggling to open up a can of soup. (“Suck it, soup!” he proclaimed victoriously.) But sometimes slow is good, especially in Tree Hill. Through extensive dialogue, we learned a little more about each person in the gang — especially Brooke (can someone please give Sophia Bush an Emmy so I can believe in justice again?)
Now that she’s lost her company, her money and her mother, Brooke is dramatically starting over — and no one on this show (or any show… ever) does drama like Sophia Bush. Tonight, we got the official S.B. tri-fecta: tears,...

The 'One Tree Hill' wardrobe department is about to need a whole lot more eyeliner. According to Michael Ausiello, rocker Dave Navarro is set to appear as himself on the CW soap in an upcoming episode.
Musicians are no stranger to the show, since one of the main character owns a record label. In the past, musically inclined guest stars have included Pete Wentz and Michelle Branch, with Kid Cudi set to appear Nov. 30. Singer/songwriter Kate Voegele has appeared on the show for the past several seasons as Mia Catalano, and performs her own songs in the role.

Along with zombies and vampires, the Oct. 19 episode also featured Jamie (apparently) as the ghost of young Jonathan Lipnicki…
But let’s not beat around the bush: Sharon Lawrence as Julian’s (Austin Nichols) mother, and Brooke’s (Sophia Bush) monster-in-law, belongs on this show. And while I hope she still finds time to make incredibly emotional PSAs about saving polar bears, I also hope she sticks around in Tree Hill for a long, long time. On top giving Brooke someone (other than mother) to butt heads with, Sharon’s Sylvia also finally told that fool Chase (Stephen Colletti) what a bad bartender he is: “Oh, God. That’s bad. That is a bad drink. That is just terrible.”
I also thought the first minutes of the episode was awesome. In a nutshell, Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) dreamt that Clay’s (Robert Buckley) psycho stalker Katie came back and turned everyone in Tree Hill into zombies.

It's hard to tell what Kate Voegele's day job actually is. As a top-selling musician, she's released two albums and toured around the world. As an actress, she's played musician Mia Catalano on 'One Tree Hill' for four seasons. To make things more confusing, the songs Mia sings on the show are actually Kate's.
When Voegele called TV Squad last week from her family's home in Ohio, she said fans are very good about separating Kate from Mia. "That's what I wanted from the start -- for this to be a great way of exposing my music to everybody but also for people to see [my acting and singing] as separate. It can be so hard to be taken seriously as both. I think 'One Tree Hill' has done a great job of helping me figure out how to show people that I'm able to do both things.

Tomorrow, One Tree Hill‘s Kate Voegele (Mia) makes a guest appearance on fellow CW show Life Unexpected. Our very own Holly sat down with Kate to discuss the crossover episode.
What was it like working with the cast of Life Unexpected? Was it different then working with the cast of One Tree Hill?
It was awesome! It felt good to bring Mia into a different world and have her interact with other people. I think Mia and Haley blended in really well and related to the characters in Life Unexpected. It was a fun experience.
How was performing on stage at a festival in this episode, as opposed to a bigger venue?
It was awesome. The set was beyond cool. There were these big glitter flowers around and I know that sounds stupid, but people will understand what I’m talking about when they see the episode. Festivals are...

Excited for next week’s Life Unexpected, which happens to be the crossover episode with One Tree Hill? I’ve got an early look at “Music Faced” for you right now.
Here’s how the story goes: Ryan (Kerr Smith) is hosting a music festival, which brings Oth‘s Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) and Mia (Kate Voegele) to Portland. Haley then meets Cate (Shiri Appleby), bonds with her over their similarities, and is there to lend a helping hand when the truth about Cate’s birth control gets out. Oh, and because this is a music festival, there are appearances by Sarah McLachlan, Ben Lee, and Lux theme song artist Rain Perry, too.
If you’ve forgotten that Ryan and Cate are trying to have a baby (or he is, anyway), the show opens with them in bed – and thankfully done with that by the time that Baze, Lux and...

It's been a while since "One Tree Hill" fans have heard new music from Haley James Scott (Bethany Joy Galeotti), but we'll be treated to a special performance on Tuesday's crossover event with "Life Unexpected."
When Haley and Mia (Kate Voegele) take a trip to Portland to perform at the Sugar Magnolia festival that Cate's (Shiri Appleby) radio station is promoting, CW worlds collide.
Though Haley is initially reluctant to take the stage, her hesitation is short-lived after Mia announces her.
"Life Unexpected" executive producer Liz Tigelaar also had a brief a moment of hesitation when the idea of a crossover was first presented to her. "I wasn't sure how it'd work," she told Zap2it when we stopped by the set to watch the "Life Unexpected" and "One Tree Hill" stars take the stage. "I didn't want it to be cheesy, and I'm sure [the "One Tree Hill" team] didn't want it to be cheesy.

When Jana Kramer's character, Alex, was first introduced on "One Tree Hill," she was a disrespectful, drug-addled fresh-out-of-rehab starlet with a bad attitude and a thing for unavailable men - specifically, Julian (Austin Nichols) who was very taken by Brooke (Sophia Bush).
Alex has come a long way since then. After a suicide attempt, she cleaned herself up -- and now, Kramer tells Zap2it that Alex is done messing with other people's boyfriends.
"She's staying out of Brooke and Julian's relationship, and I'm so glad, because I was getting serious hate from all the Brulian lovers," Kramer laughs. "There will be a wedding, and Alex will not come between them. She realizes that Julian does not love her at all, and she's moving on."

What a stomach punch.
I was all ready to be back on board the One Tree Hill train after an improved season premiere... and then this? On "I Can't See You, But I Know You're There," Clay and Quinn took near-death hallucinations to a whole new level, and not in a good way.
I am not one for dream sequences in general, but I could choke down the scenes by these two in the premiere because they were off in their own beach setting. I assumed once they figured out what was going on, it would be the end of it.
Boy, was I wrong! What I couldn't handle is the fact that these two were having simultaneous out of body experiences in which they watched their own surgeries. I mean, come on, that is tough to sell me on.
And how is Clay so knowledgeable on how these types...

The title to next episode of "One Tree Hill" may suggest that Clay, who is between life and death, is the centric storyline, but what happen on the other side of life grabs the attention more. Mouth and Millie are back together and they are caught staring at the ceiling, thinking of what just happened on bed.
Mouth and Millie's relationship dated back in season 5 when she was still an assistant to Brooke. They found things in common but drifted apart as time goes by and she struggled with weight and drugs issue as a model. Millie then cleaned up and chose a different path of career.
Also in the episode, as the situation at the hospital worsens, Nathan makes a huge decision regarding his career. Brooke and Julian take Jamie for the day, while Victoria and Millicent hatch a plan. "The Space in Between" airs September 28 on The CW.

Was I watching One Tree Hill tonight… or Lost? The similarities are uncanny.
While I disagree with the show’s decision to extend Clay’s (Robert Buckley) adventures in Purgatory for yet another week, I will applaud the Sept. 21 episode of The CW’s One Tree Hill for trying something weird. Sure, we’ve seen another version of this storyline before — remember when Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) had a post-heartattack visit to the afterlife? — but I was still legitimately sucked into it. When Clay watched himself dying, I felt like I was watching myself dying. Spooky stuff.
The ghostly merriment continues next week, but hopefully it won’t go any further than that. If we only get half a season, I don’t want to spend any more of it watching dead characters. Let’s just get that miracle pregnancy for Sophia Bush already!
