OK, lot of people praise his acting, and I do too, but I want to know why you like his acting (even though I know it is his debut, what did you like about it)

For me, it was his subtleties (as in his eye movements and other minute things). When Plainview introduces H.W. for the first time and H.W. sort of acknowledges it was amazing, when drinking the milk/alcohol and squirms, stuff like that.

Even his prominent actions seemed natural, like when shooting quail, was phenomenal.
