The Doctor Who Experience has regenerated.
The Cardiff attraction temporarily closed its doors last month and re-opened to the public on Friday (October 24) - just in time for half term.
In the near two-month hiatus, the Experience team have been hard at work, not only updating the Exhibition Hall but installing a revamped interactive walkthrough.
The exhibition alone is worth the price of admission. Split across two levels, it offers an abundance of original Doctor Who props and costumes - the largest such collection in the world - with replicas surprisingly scarce.
Here you'll find prized items dating all the way back to the early '60s, with original scripts, props (including several full-size Daleks) and vintage costumes. Reproductions stand in for the first two Doctor's costumes, but there's a restored Jon Pertwee outfit on display - all the way from 1970.
The latest update also means that fans can get...

Starting today on Cbbc, James reports back from the second series launch of Russell T Davies and Phil Ford's Wizards Vs Aliens...
Despite its undoubted behind-the-scenes pedigree, it would be fair to suggest that Russell T Davies and Phil Ford’s Wizards vs Aliens struggled to find its feet during its maiden series on Cbbc last year.
Weighed down by a far heavier expositional burden than the team’s previous effort, The Sarah Jane Adventures, ever had to contend with, it wasn’t until the final weeks of its first run that WvA truly seemed to find its feet and deliver satisfying and compelling stories in its own right.
However, despite the show finally managing to deliver on its obvious potential the question remained: would WvA’s second season be able to maintain that progress? While it’s too early to deliver a definitive answer,...

The BBC had a gap in their schedule following the end of The Sarah Jane Adventures due to the untimely death of Elisabeth Sladen. However, the popular Doctor Who spin-off is to be replaced by a show from many of the same writers, Wizards vs Aliens, a show which reportedly does exactly what it says on the tin.
Writer and co-creator Phil Ford (The Sarah Jane Adventures, Doctor Who, Torchwood, the new Captain Scarlet) has just tweeted:
“Principal photography on Wizards vs Aliens has just begun!! Hooray! Best of luck to everyone involved!”
Only a few days before, he tweeted:
“Just done the first full cast read-through for Wizards vs Aliens. So excited. Very happy!”
Ford's enthusiasm is infectious, though no doubt completely warranted based on the high-concept title alone.
As his co-creator Russell T. Davies says, "it was called Aliens vs Wizards until a lawyer stepped in, but there we go.
