Peacock has announced the release date for Mrs. Davis, the new drama series executive produced by Tara Hernandez and Damon Lindelof.
The series, which stars Betty Gilpin, will premiere with four episodes on April 20. The remaining four episodes will debut weekly on Thursdays.
Mrs. Davis is described as “an exploration of faith versus technology — an epic battle of biblical and binary proportions.” Gilpin plays Simone, a nun who goes to battle against an all-powerful Artificial Intelligence known as “Mrs. Davis.” She will star alongside Jake McDorman, who plays Gilpin’s rebellious ex, who also has a personal vendetta against the Algorithm.
Peacock also released a first look at the series on Wednesday, showing Gilpin and McDorman presumably throughout their mission to destroy Mrs. Davis. One of the photos can be viewed above, and the rest are below. Additionally, the streamer has shared a message from the AI herself, which you can read below.

Disney+‘s upcoming Star Wars series The Acolyte is recruiting The Good Place‘s Manny Jacinto to join the cast. Jacinto is just the latest star to board the project behind previously announced cast members Amandla Stenberg, Jodie Turner-Smith, and most recent addition and Emmy-winner Lee Jung-jae who made a splash in Netflix’s Squid Game. The Good Place (Credit: Colleen Hayes/NBC) According to Variety, Jacinto’s casting hasn’t been officially announced by Disney, so no details on his role in the show are known at this time. The upcoming title is a mystery-thriller set during the final days of the High Republic era and will uncover some of the shadowy secrets emerging from the Dark Side. The term acolyte refers to an individual in the Star Wars universe with Force abilities who learns from a Sith Lord. The Acolyte is just one of many Star Wars series from Disney+ and Lucasfilm,...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Season 1 of The Woman in the House Across the Street From the Girl in the Window.] It’s safe to say that The Woman in the House Across the Street From the Girl in the Window isn’t a conventional psychological thriller. The series starring Kristen Bell is so absurd, you may not be able to accept it as fact, but rest assured, this extreme satire is set in reality, however, altered it may seem. “It’s reality, yeah,” says co-creator Rachel Ramras. “We don’t know if what [Anna]’s seeing is correct or not, but it is reality,” fellow co-creator, Larry Dorf adds. Regardless of perception, it’s clear that Anna’s (Bell) story is being told through a comedic lens. (Credit: Colleen E. Viewers might know Kristen Bell for her crime-solving titular role in Veronica Mars, but the actress is finding herself at the center of a mystery in Netflix‘s new psychological thriller The Woman in the House Across the Street From the Girl in the Window (The Woman in the House for short). The action centers around her reclusive character Anna who spends most of her days drinking wine and looking out the window. Things change when her dreamy new neighbor Neil (Tom Riley) moves in across the street with his daughter Emma (Samsara Yett). (Credit: Colleen E. Hayes/Netflix) But when Anna believes she witnesses a murder, questions arise, and the truth about what she really saw turns into a complicated mystery that entangles Anna and the people surrounding her. “One of the exciting parts is you never really know who’s reliable. An NBC sitcom, The Good Place stars Ted Danson, Kristen Bell, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, Manny Jacinto, and D’Arcy Carden. The story centers on the thoughtless Eleanor Shellstrop (Bell). Do Eleanor's good deeds outweigh the bad in season two of The Good Place TV show on NBC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether the TV show The Good Place is cancelled or renewed for a third season. The first season of The Good Place was a refreshing slice of brilliance that actually managed to pull a switcheroo. That’s nearly an impossible ambition in the world of television. The first season review of The Good Place only had the benefit of the first few episodes, which is obviously the norm of television criticism, and if I’d had the full season it would have managed an even higher rating.

Freshman comedy "Marry Me" has won over NBC execs, who have ordered up five additional episodes of the show.
That brings the series's order up to 18 episodes for its initial season, a big show of confidence from the network that just axed its other two new sitcoms. But while "Bad Judge" and "A to Z" just couldn't connect with audiences, "Marry Me" has drawn a respectable crowd, averaging approximately 6.5 million viewers each week.
Those numbers put "Marry Me" second behind only ABC's "Black-ish" as the most-watched new comedy of the 2014-2015 TV season so far in the coveted 18-49 demographic. "Marry Me" has also bested NBC's only other remaining sitcom, "About a Boy," as the network's most-watched comedy.

We’ve been keeping you up to date with Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke’s Revenge plot, which recently extended into its season for the ABC soap, and today we have a gallery of images from “Confidence”, the third episode of the season. Emily VanCamp looks to be in full Hamptons hunt mode still, even (apparently) when barefooted, and we also get a couple of looks at some of the new men of Revenge’s second season.
The “Confidence” summary goes like this: “The Graysons are back in the spotlight and at the center of a media storm once again, while Emily’s past continues to haunt her.” Now, you have another offering of Revenge coming to you before “Confidence”, titled “Resurrection”, and we already brought you the promo images and tv tease from that previously – as you can or will see, the title is apt.

If you’re not fully caught up on ABC’s Revenge season 2, which kicked off last night as part of the network’s loaded (if 666 does well) Sunday lineup, you may want to stop now! Like Right Now! The images below are from next week’s episode of Revenge, titled “Resurrection” for reasons that are obvious for those who are up to date and constantly scouring the net for Revenge news or for those who just look below. As an aside, even though both are in the Hamptons this month, we can tell you Emily Vancamp isn’t the one stirring up trouble for Castle and Beckett!
As you can see , Charlotte, portrayed by Christa B. Allen, is back, and chatting up with Emily VanCamp’s Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke (who is looking rather great here isn’t she?). We also get a couple of looks at James Morrison’s White-Haired Man.

ABC executives have been mostly mum about the late-season arrival of James Purefoy, the hunky British actor who joins the cast of Revenge as the show returns from hiatus on April 18.
It was announced in January that Purefoy would portray Dominik Wright, the mysterious old flame of the show's cunning matriarch, Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe), but though producer Mike Kelley has called Dominik "an artist," that's about all we know about him. Purefoy has not yet given interviews about his role -- as far as I know -- possibly because he's swamped. He's also preparing to play a serial killer opposite Kevin Bacon in a high-profile Fox pilot, scheduled for the 2012-2013 season. This means that Dominik's wooing of La Grayson may be short and sweet -- or spicy and not so sweet -- spanning just a few episodes. After all, the show's title and theme affect each character's motives,...

This episode of “Revenge” starts off on a Shakespearean note, quoting “Hamlet”: “God has given you one face and you make yourself another.” I eagerly await Samuel Beckett references in future episodes.
The Graysons are sitting for a photo shoot and being interviewed for what seems to be a puff piece about their marriage. Of course we know that their marriage is really a Kardashianic farce.

Revenge is ABC's try at a juicy primetime soap/mystery, and while the first episode had some problems, we're willing to give it a chance.
One of the things that intrigued us was the announcement that a gay character would be introduced starting in the third episode, who would be a Talented Mr. Ripley-type. We now have our first glimpse of Tyler (played by Ashton Holmes), and pics of him from the fourth episode, "Duplicity," which airs on Wednesday, October 12th at 10 Pm Et. Here's the synopsis (But it's spoilery!):
The recent scandals have the Graysons on edge, driving Conrad to pay a secret visit to Lydia and Victoria to submerse herself in her Mothers and Daughters charity event for mental health. The benefit provides the perfect opportunity for Emily to train her sights on taking down Dr. Michelle Banks, the psychiatrist responsible for institutionalizing her as a little girl,...

ABC Family is on a roll. In addition to the season 2 return of its popular series Pretty Little Liars, the network also had a terrific summer season with the premiere of two new shows: Switched at Birth and The Nine Lives of Chloe King. Tonight is the season premiere of another new series: The Lying Game. The show basically has a built-in audience, as it is based on a book series written by Sara Shepard, who also penned the Pretty Little Liars books.
Admittedly, the show's premise is similar to The CW show Ringer, which will be premiering in September. But tonally the shows are quite different, so don't let any comparisons put you off. The Lying Game is a story about two twin sisters - Emma and Sutton - who were separated after being given up for adoption. Emma grew up as a foster kid, surrounded by poverty and skeevy foster brothers,...

There are only two more episodes of Modern Family this season, so we should treasure the time we have left. It shouldn't be too difficult, because these episodes look hilarious. First up is this Wednesday's episode "See You Next Fall." Here' the synopsis:
The whole family is gathering at Jay's before heading out to Alex's graduation ceremony from middle school, but while at the house, Jay is preoccupied hiding a botox mishap from everyone, Cameron is upset about Mitchell's habit of laughing at his expense, and Phil tries to sympathize with, yet also antagonize Claire on her impending breakdown over the kids growing up too fast. All of this, plus a faulty gate, could mean their missing Alex's big moment.
The show is always best when the families interact, so this should be a good one. (Pics - ABC/Eric McCandless).
Next week's Season Finale "The One That Got Away" looks to be a classic.
