- I have been in show business all my life, watched the big stars come and go, and I am still here. What am I waiting for? I am going to be an overnight success, if it take a hundred years.
- In every life, we are given a minimum number of successes. I, for example, was given at least a minimum number of 1953 successes, of which I have not used the majority of the minimum given, which goes to explain why I have not even scratched the surface of that maximum number, which is an infinite number, of successes, beyond the stars, for use should I require them. Success is a matter of positive mathematical progression. Failure is nothing more than an error in mathematics, you learn from your errors,by looking back at the steps, find where it went wrong, then get the eraser out and redo the problem, until it brings success.
