‘Small Things Like These’, a historical drama starring Cillian Murphy, is set to open this year’s Berlin Film Festival. The film has been directed by Tim Mielants from a script by Enda Walsh, and will have its world premiere in the festival’s competition on February 15, reports Variety.

We finally have another glimpse at the next Sally Rooney adaptation. Hulu released a full-length trailer Tuesday for the upcoming miniseries “Conversations with Friends.”

Hulu has handed Sally Rooney’s Conversations with Friends a straight-to-series order, following the breakout success of Normal People.
The digital platform has boarded the 12-part show, which the BBC committed to in February. Although Hulu doesn’t disclose ratings, Normal People has been a social media phenomenon and has made stars of Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul Mescal.

Hulu has issued a straight to series order for “Normal People,” based on the best-selling Sally Rooney novel, Variety has learned.
The first six episodes of the 12-episode, half-hour drama will be directed by “Room” helmer Lenny Abrahamson, while the last six will be directed by Hettie McDonald.
