NBC is putting Christine Taylor to work — quite literally — with a role in its upcoming comedy pilot Sharing, our sister site Deadline reports.
Co-produced by Jimmy Fallon and Rick Schwartz (Black Swan), the single-camera project follows the different groups of people working side by side in a shared office space.

Taylor will play Polly, a Type-a businesswoman who co-owns the office with her husband, who she wishes would stand up for himself more often. Jeremy Bronson (The Mindy Project) and Damian Lanigan (Massive) will pen the pilot.

Potter, whose NBC series “Parenthood” is preparing to end its run, is attached to star in a comedy pilot that was ordered by the network on Monday.

Oscilloscope Laboratories has released the first poster for their comedy which tells of Alison (Alison Fyhrie) who, on the eve of their wedding, gets cold feet and decides to break up with her fiancé Phil (Philip Quinaz). But rather than face the embarrassment of calling off the ceremony, Alison suggests to Phil that they proceed with a sham wedding. Phil is more than game to try, secretly hoping that a surprise gift he has for Alison will ultimately change her mind. Yet once the guests begin to arrive, more complications ensue than either of them could have ever imagined - even if they did know their wedding was bullshit. Also in the cast are Mary Grill, Damian Lanigan, Michael Lidondici, Chris Manley, Anna Martemucci and Brian Shoaf.

IFC intends to grow its comedy programming, as evidenced by the cable channel's announcement that they ordered three pilots and eight scripts for 2014.
Highlights of the announcement are a pilot built around Garfunkel & Oates, the female musical comedy duo made of up actress/musicians Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci, and a script written by Megan Mullally ("Will & Grace," "Party Down") called "Two Idiots," about "a pair of odd women raised in an old world Beverly Hills hotel."
Lindhome and Micucci previously had a web series on HBO Go as Garfunkel & Oates.
