Freddie Prinze Jr. marked the launch of his new horror movie podcast “That Was Pretty Scary” by talking to TooFab about one of his own seminal horror films, the 1997 teen slasher classic “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” Prinze Jr., who co-hosts the podcast with Jon Lee Brody, said making the movie was a miserable experience because of director Jim Gillespie, who the actor said was “such an asshole” to him on set. Alleged tension between the two started because Gillespie wanted to cast Jeremy Sisto in the role of Ray Bronson but the studio and screenwriter Kevin Williamson wanted Prinze Jr. instead.
“I’ll give the man this, I think his name is Jim, he made no bones about it,” Prinze Jr. said of the director. “There was no passive aggressiveness — which I hate — he was very direct in the fact that, ‘I don’t want you in this movie.

When news broke last month that Freddie Prinze Jr. was to potentially reprise his role as Ray Bronson in the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” franchise, it was the actor’s first time finding out about the so-called project.
In February, reports began circulating that a sequel to the 1997 and 1998 horror flicks was in the works with Prinze Jr. and co-star Jennifer Love Hewitt “in talks” to reprise their roles as Bronson and Julie James, respectively.
However, while the 47-year-old actor was recently promoting his new horror movie podcast “That Was Pretty Scary”, he revealed he had no clue about the project until his name began to appear in headlines.
He thinks the announcement was “leaked” by the production company in efforts to “get people hyped about their movie.”

Here's an interesting one for Bautista fans. As the former pro-wrestler's profile begins to grow after roles in Riddick and, of course, Guardians Of The Galaxy; we're hearing that his next movie project might well be a zombie flick, written by Jon Lee Brody (Pawn, Star Trek Into Darkness) and mixed martial artist turned actor Cung le (The Man With The Iron Fists, Tekken) who also looks set to act in the movie. Word is that the script has being doing the rounds and has finally found a home, and that Dave Bautista may have committed to star..though we can't confirm this at the moment and have no info on the character he'd play. Unfortunately all we can reveal about the actual movie itself is that it'll be a new take on the zombie genre, incorporating martial arts into the undead carnage. So not too much to go on...

Last week we reported that Fox and WB are apparently trying to get a leg up on Marvel by looking at lots of unknown - or not very well known - young actors to fill some of the roles in their slate of upcoming comic book movies. We couldn't find out which roles specifically but one of those actors agreed to answer a few questions for us, so maybe he'll shed some light on things! Jon Lee Brody is fast making a name for himself in Hollywood. The athletic 6’2” Asian-Jewish-German is a highly skilled actor and stunt man who has appeared in such films as The Dark Night, Tron: Legacy, and will also appear in Star Trek: Into Darkness. He also has an impressive slate of film and tv projects in the works, and below he talks to us about all of the above! Cbm: So a little bird...

A hostage situation gone wrong... I have a feeling that we’re all a little bit mysterious about the upcoming crime thriller Pawn. Ok then, check out the rest of this report to find the video…

The recent Squad 85 web series is the latest in a long line of police parodies, but it will soon be joined by another satirical web offering. Debuting in 2013, Police Guys hopes to take a straight concept and twist it right to its breaking point. In the same vein as classic films such as Naked Gun and Hot Fuzz, Police Guys will poke fun at the stiff, serious nature of police work, featuring straight-faced and stern cops who make a mockery of their profession by shooting people on a whim and struggling to put on their bulletproof vests. The trailer for the series has been released, and gives us a good idea of what to expect. The series is the brainchild of Jon Lee Brody, who previously helped create Interns Anonymous, a series that featured a similar flair for unpredictable and occasionally Python-esque humor. This time around, Brody has enlisted the...
