Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence
Written and directed by Tom Six
2011, Netherlands/UK
It’s probably worth mentioning that I was not a fan of The Human Centipede. I thought the film underwhelming, poorly directed and largely undeserving of the cult status bestowed on it by some. Like Paramount’s Paranormal Activity (the first film distributed by a major studio to use crowd-sourcing) the hype machine was in full effect, building up excitement far before anyone had ever even seen the movie. The same can be said for Full Sequence.
This time around the “100% medically INaccurate” (the film’s protagonist administers blows to the head like they were Lunestra) depravity is carried out by a portly, bug-eyed man named Martin. Martin works in a parking garage endlessly watching The Human Centipede, dreaming of the day he too can assemble his own arthropod. Outside of that, Martin’s life sucks. His mother hates him.

Writer-director Tom Six’s already infamous horror sequel Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) received its world premiere last night at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas. According to one review, the movie “redefines the word ‘disgusting,’” which I suspect Mr. Six will take as a compliment. The film’s distributors IFC have also released a poster for HC2, which is actually rather tasteful — at least, compared to pretty much everything else connected with this franchise — but is still just Nsfw-ish enough that we felt it best to place the sucker after the jump.

Have you ever wished that someone else had an idea instead of the person that had it? Has there ever been a time where you’ve recognized real genius trapped in a mind unable to execute it to its full glory? If there were ever a moment like that in the movie world, it was Human Centipede, and with Human Centipede 2, writer/director Tom Six has proven that his inspired idea of a horror villain who sews his victims ass to mouth should have popped into the head of a writer/director who knew thing one about writing or directing. As if there were doubts, Mr. Six is in love with the movie he made. This love is so powerful that he felt the need to share it in this sequel which features a squatted lump of a man watching Six’s previous film many, many, many times during what has to be called “the story” despite...

In 2009, Tom Six released The Human Centipede onto Austin’s Fantastic Fest crowd. Two years later, Mr. Six is back with the sequel The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence). Now, I will admit that I wasn’t the hugest fan of the original film. The reason why was because everything that was shocking and built up to be shocking was shown in the trailer so there really wasn’t a lot of drive to actually see the film. While I didn’t personally like the original film, I get why people do. When I heard that he was going to make a sequel to the original film and it would make the first film look like “My Little Pony”, I was down to see how far he would push the limit. I can definitely say Tom Six pushed the new film past the limit as far as shock value. However, at what consequence?...

Love it. Hate it. You cannot deny that director Tom Six’s The Human Centipede was one of the more talked about films recently, even entering into pop culture. Now his sequel, coming soon from IFC Films, is shrouded in mystery, but with the updated plot synopsis and this new still from EW, we’re starting to see more.
Who is he? What part of the centipede is he? Curious we are, Mr. Six…
Says Dread Central, “The Human Centipede II: Full Sequence tells the story of a man who becomes sexually obsessed with a DVD recording of the first film and who imagines putting the ‘centipede’ idea into practice. Unlike the first film, the sequel presents graphic images of sexual violence, forced defecation, and mutilation; and the viewer is invited to witness events from the perspective of the protagonist. Whereas in the first film the ‘centipede’ idea is presented as a revolting medical experiment,...

It is less than 18 months since writer-director Tom Six unleashed his shocking horror movie Human Centipede (First Sequence), the tale of a mad scientist and his fondness for stitching people together rump-to-mouth. But Mr. Six is not a man to rest on his gore-drenched laurels. On October 7, IFC Midnight is releasing the Dutch auteur’s black-and-white sequel Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) and you can exclusively see the first image from the film below. The photo shows the franchise’s latest villain, Martin, played by newcomer Laurence R. Harvey.

As Todd has reported here, the BBFC (aka the British Board of Film Classification, essentially the UK’s version of the States’ MPAA, though the MPAA is more of a “guide” that you can choose to ignore, while the BBFC can actually make it illegal) has banned Tom Six’s “Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence” from ever seeing the light of day on UK shores. This means not only no theatrical release, but also no DVD release, or broadcast of any kind within the UK’s borders. Reached for comment by Empire, the inimitable Mr. Six has now responded to the banning: Thank you BBFC for putting spoilers of my movie on your website and thank you for banning my film in this exceptional way. Apparently I made an horrific horror-film, but shouldn’t a good horror film be horrific? My dear people it is a f****cking Movie. It is all fictional.

Never underestimate the power of advertising. All it takes is a cute cat, an eccentric character, or, heck, a nebulous blob suffering a severe identity crisis, to encourage us to head over to our local grocery store/convenience store/bar, etc., to pick up corporate America’s latest offering. That’s why this month, we’re bringing you EW’s Big Shill bracket game, which celebrates the country’s finest advertising icons — and pits them head-to-head in a battle for supremacy. In our first round, Six Flags’ Mr. Six dances off against Wendy’s “Where’s the Beef” lady in the Human Category,...

Sorry folks. Just when you thought it was safe to come back to Pajiba. Apparently, director/lunatic Tom Six wasn't kidding when he said he was planning on making a sequel to this year's Human Centipede (First Sequence). Titled Human Centipede (Full Sequence), the second entry involves yet another ass-to-mouth monstrosity, this time with more people.
Human Centipede II: More Assy, More Mouthy. No? Whatever. Moving on.
Anyway, it's been quite a year for Mr. Six -- he's apparently been getting hatemail, death threats, and people have likened him to Hitler. Which, I mean, really people. It's a movie. Yes, a pretty fucking twisted one, but still. We're pulling out the Hitler card? That seems a bit extreme. Especially when you consider that, well, it wasn't a very good movie. I mean, Six had a unique premise, but lacked the wontons to really do anything with it. It ended up being strangely boring,...

IFC has already decided to stand behind Tom Six's sequel to his well-publicized horror manifesto The Human Centipede (First Sequence), and today released a teaser for The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence). That title refers to the fact that, in this film, there are many more people joined end to end to create a much longer human centipede...yeah. Ok. Check the teaser and some comments from Mr. Six, after the break. Six told IFC.com that he didn't want to show his secrets too early: We didn't want to reveal that much in the first teaser. So we couldn't show much except for me. So you see me walk through one of our locations and then I reveal one of the lead characters in the story with a box on his head...We didn't want to show any material from the set because then you'd see what the centipede...

Taylor Lautner is one step closer to taking over the world. When The Twilight Saga started to gear up, it was obvious that Lautner was right where he wanted to be. While his co-stars shrunk from fame and griped about the neverending Big Brother eyes of Twi-hards, Lautner slid into his role, eager to chat up his film wherever he could and, subsequently, do whatever he needed to do to stay in the series. (Like go from wee, tiny li'l thing to Mr. Six-Pack Werewolf abs.) And now he's looking to save more ladies in Cancun.
The Hollywood Reporter posts that Lautner will star in a new action flick Summit has picked up from Eric Champnella and Grant Thompson. A gig meant to show off his mad martial arts skills, the film focuses on "an out-of-place college kid who travels with a girl to Cancun on break. While there,...
