Jean Curtis(II)

Jean Curtis was born in Chicago, Illinois USA to Native
American father Alfred Woodfork, a former guitarist, and African
American mother Carla Rufus, a caregiver. Jean first came into the
spotlight at the age of 17 years old when she started print modeling in
ads such as Sears and Kodak. Jean went on to host the 2003 Mid-America
Emmy Awards. In 2004 Jean competed at the International Modeling &
Talent Association in Los Angeles CA, there she won an award for best
commercial. It eventually led to her moving to Los Angeles and pursing
her path to stardom. After moving to Los Angeles she began perfecting
her craft by studying with acting coaches such as Barbara Cameron, Al
Onoranto, Jeremiah Comey and Shelen Bryant. Jean also starred in
several theater plays such as "A Relationship to Treasure", "Answer the
Call" and "The Dinner Guest". Jean was eventually signed by Red Models
and Talent Agency formerly known as ModeLinque Models and Talent. Jean
later had a few small roles in some independent films, appeared on
several game shows and appeared in television shows as background such
as "Just Jordan" and "Hannah Montana". Jean was later signed by Daniels
Entertainment Group which helped launch her career as a SAG actress by
appearing in a national "Colgate" commercial. Jean currently resides in
Los Angeles CA, and is signed with Daniels Entertainment Group
Management and Daily Talent commercial & theatrical division.
