Arthur Latin

Arthur's career dates back to the 1970's when, at age of three, when he
played drums at his father's church. A native of Nacogdoches, Texas,
Arthur played drums for the Nacogdoches High School Band before
attending Stephen F. Austin State University where he enjoyed a full
scholarship owing to his many awards.
Arthur later transferred to the then Southwest Texas University (now known at Texas State University) in San Marcos, Texas to study music recording and percussion under percussionist, Dr. Chris Hanning. At the age of 22, Arthur began playing with jazz saxophonist, Kyle Turner.
In 1997 Arthur began playing drums for Grammy Award winning Jazz Pianist and Vocalist, Harry Connick Jr. with whom Arthur has recorded in excess of eight albums, and has performed live for audiences and for broadcast.
Arthur has also performed drums for Dany Brilliant and Lucian Barbarin. Arthur has produced a record for East Texas Vocalist Shonna Stallworth. Arthur also enjoys a solo career.
