HBO Max dropped a lot of information today, including a premiere date, price, and a slew of series orders.
The new service will officially launch in May 2020, but it will come in at the cost of $14.99, putting it above the cost of Netflix, Hulu, CBS All Access, Apple TV+, and Disney+.
However, an ad-supported iteration is in the works and will launch sometime in 2021. On top of that, an annual subscription will be available, and that should bring the cost down a little.
"With this entire company coming together, we will have one of the most robust collections of premium streaming content that will appeal to all demographics in the household, and be able to achieve incredible scale and reach right out of the gate,” said Robert Greenblatt, chairman of WarnerMedia Entertainment and Direct-to-Consumer.

“We couldn’t achieve this without AT&T’s unprecedented and enthusiastic support.

For a game that revolves around infiltrating and hacking into global networks and exposing hidden secrets in the process, Watch Dogs 2 has struggled to keep its own secrets under lock and key over the past few weeks, with a handful of leaks slowly peeling back the layers of Ubisoft’s sequel ahead of time.
But, as promised, the French publisher officially showcased Watch Dogs 2 in all of its edgy and underground glory earlier today via livestream, confirming plans to situate the hacking follow-up in San Francisco. In lieu of Aiden Pearce, Dedsec hacker Marcus Holloway will anchor the sequel’s story, allowing players to stage a digital revolt in the tech capital of the world.
Much of that action will be funnelled through ctOS, the Central Operating System that essentially acts as the lifeblood of the city, lending players the power to hack into seemingly everybody and anybody in their...

Sony Pictures has confirmed that starting at 10am Pacific time today, you will be able to rent James Franco and Seth Rogen's comedy The Interview on YouTube, Google Play, and Xbox for only $5.99. You will also have the option to buy it for $14.99 which is pretty much the cost of admission for seeing a movie here in Los Angeles. There's also an official website that has been set up for anyone who may not have access to those services. There have been talks of the film being made available on Netflix in the next few days as well, but there's no confirmation of that yet. It's good to see that Sony didn't let the hackers win. Enjoy the movie! Hopefully it was worth all the insanity.
If you would rather watch the movie in theaters, below you'll find a full list of where the movie will be playing on...

The Community-themed Six Seasons and a Movie Art Show kicked-off this weekend at the PixelDrip Gallery in Los Angeles. The free gallery tribute to the NBC show was attended by tons of fans, artists and even stars and the creator of the show, Dan Harmon.
Here is what Mark Batalla, PixelDrip curator and manager had to say: “We continue to be astonished and humbled by the artists that have agreed to participate in the art show. Any of these individuals is talented enough to have their own solo exhibit. Having the opportunity to gather their artwork under the same roof is a dream come true and one we would like to share with as many people as possible. We are also honored to have artists that have worked on ‘Community,’ such as Rob Schrab, Megan Ganz, Jim Mahfood, and Myke Chilian. The cast and crew’s close relationship with...
