The Tejada family is reeling from a major loss in "Power Book II: Ghost" season three, but Monet only has one thing on her mind: revenge. The cold-hearted queenpin's (Mary J. Blige) world shattered to pieces in season two's shocking finale when her nephew son Zeke was shockingly killed by Monet's husband, Lorenzo (Berto Colon), unbeknownst to her. Now she's only concerned with hunting down the person who took her firstborn away. But Blige tells Popsugar that her character's blind-revenge mission in season three, which premiered on March 17, will only put her "in a place where it compromises everything" later down the line.
It's clear that Monet's grief journey this season affects everyone around her, including her three kids - Cane (Woody McClain), Dru (Lovell Adams-Gray), and Diana (Latoya Tonodeo) - but especially Diana, who unknowingly set off the chain of events that led to Zeke's tragic death.

Thirty years into a career as one of the best R&b artists of her generation — Rock & Roll Hall of Fame honors or not — Mary J. Blige continues to challenge herself and her fans. It’s hard to think of any peers from her early-Nineties peak, whether it’s the “queen of Christmas” Mariah Carey or the under-appreciated Brandy, who would eagerly collaborate with the likes of Fivio Foreign, the hard-edged New York drill act currently making headlines for his protests against Hot 97’s censorious ban on “violent” diss raps.

Mary J. Blige reportedly smacked her husband, Kendu Isaacs, at a record-release party last week. Her rep denies any altercation, but the paper that broke the story has video evidence to back up its claim.
How convincing that evidence (presented above) is, we'll leave to you. The facts are these:
Blige held a release party for her new album, "Stronger with Each Tear," last Tuesday (Dec. 22) at a New York club called M2. During the event, the Grammy winner got into an argument with her husband, which according to the New York Post started when she accused him of flirting with a waitress.
The Post also says that Blige then hit her husband in the face and left a bite mark on his hand, offering up the video above as proof. A security guard is between the camera and the couple, so it's hard to say whether Blige actually made contact with her husband,...

Contrary to what has been circling around, Mary J. Blige didn't go ballistic on husband Kendu Isaacs at her record release party on Tuesday night, December 22. Through her spokeswoman Karynne Tencer, the nine-time Grammy recipient denies the attack by stating that she was just simply attempting to stop a brawl between Isaacs and her brother.
"Mary was not fighting with her husband," Tencer first threw cold water to the fight rumor to New York Daily News. She went on to explain, "Her husband and her brother got into an altercation that turned into a fight. Mary went to break up the fight." While admitting to be in the dark of the brother's name, the rep slammed report that Isaacs was seen with a bleeding lip, saying "Nobody was bleeding."
Tencer further addressed report that Blige was overheard comparing Isaacs with Chris Brown, who smacked Rihanna earlier this year. "She never mentioned Chris Brown,...
