If there’s ever a phrase that will have me instantly reaching for my wallet it’s “a Scott Adkins film…” Honestly, nine times out of ten I will buy an Adkins film without so much as seeing a trailer. Why? Well because for me, Adkins is keeping the Dtv dream alive, picking up the action hard-man mantle from 90s pioneers like Jeff Speakman, Olivier Gruner, Gary Daniels and in particular Jeff Wincott, one of the only other true action heroes to have the same perfect blend of fighting skills, charisma and acting chops as Adkins.

Filming on the Eliminators began in September of this year, in London. The film is a WWE Studios production, starring wrestling superstar Stu Bennett. Actor Mem Ferda (The Devil's Double) also centrally stars, along with Scott Adkins (Close Range); James Nunn has directed this thriller. A preview of the film's upcoming launch is hosted here. In the story, a former Us Federal Agent must come out of a witness protection program. His home has been invaded and on the run, he is hunted by those who still want him dead. Actor Ferda has something to say about the film and his character. Ferda says "I was thrilled to be cast in the role of Giordani, an Italian American arms dealer. It gave me the opportunity to do a Boston American accent, which admittedly was getting a little rusty." Ferda's latest film is now in the post-production phase, with a release date upcoming.

12 Rounds 3: Lockdown continues the long-running franchise with yet another WWE superstar given the chance to headline. This time round we have Dean Ambrose, a wrestler known for his anarchic, unstable nature who doesn’t play by the rules. And that’s essentially the same character he plays here – only this time his character, Shaw, also happens to be a cop. The only good cop in his precinct it would seem, given just how many men Shaw’s former partner turned nemesis, Burke, brings with him to take on Shaw!
Essentially another Die Hard clone (as were the first two movies), 12 Rounds 3 sees Shaw, following the death of his partner, finally return to active duty.

WWE Studios have some success and some failure with their releases but with See No Evil the reception was definitely mixed. One of their earliest movies it used Glen “Kane” Jacobs in the role of the psychotic killer Jacob Goodnight and I will admit to liking it, it had its flaws but it was fun a fun horror with plenty of gore. When the See No Evil 2 was announced it caught the attention of horror fans with the Soska Sisters were taking the reigns as directors and bringing scream queens Danielle Harris and Katharine Isabelle with them as part of the cast.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Danielle Harris, Katharine Isabelle, and Michael Eklund will star in See No Evil 2 and we have the names of four others who have joined the cast. It has been officially announced that Greyston Holt, Chelan Simmons, Kaj Eriksen, and Lee Majdoub will all appear in the horror sequel, directed by Jen and Sylvia Soska.
All of the four new cast members have dabbled in genre projects before, but Chelan Simmons (pictured below) is probably most recognizable for her role in Tucker and Dale vs Evil.
Kane will return as Jacob Goodnight , with production expected to begin this fall. Previously, Variety revealed that the script will be co-written by Nathan Brookes and Bobby Lee Darby, featuring Jacob Goodnight “rising from the dead in the city morgue” after his killing spree at the Blackwell hotel. He’ll be going after “a group of medical students who fight to survive.
